Appareil de chauffage électrique. La présente invention a pour objet un appareil de chauffage électrique dans lequel un corps de chauffe est recouvert par la plaque de métal à chauffer. Cet appareil est caractérisé en ce que le corps de chauffe est emprisonné dans une enceinte hermétique, le fout formant l'élément chauffant.
Cette en ceinte est formée par la susdite plaque, par une seconde plaque métallique et par le bord de l'une d'elles au moins, recourbé de ma nière à former cuvette et étant soudé à l'autre plaque, un vide au moins partiel étant fait flans ladite enceinte, la plaque destinée à être eliauffée étant ainsi appuyée par la pres- ion atmosphérique contre le corps de chauffe, cette plaque étant assez mince pour pouvoir fléchir.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention, une variante de cette forme et un détail.

La partie de l'appareil montrée en fig. 1 en est l'élément chauffant destiné par exem ple à recevoir une marmite sur sa face 1. 11 est constitué par un corps de chauffe em prisonné dans une enceinte hermétiquement fermée par deux plaques 1 et 2 flexibles et dont les bords sont recourbés de manière à s'emboîter l'un dans l'autre et à recevoir de la soudure dans leur interstice 4. Le corps de chauffage est constitué par une résistance formée d'un fil 18 (fig. 5), placée sur un pla teau formé de plaques isolantes 3 avec une pellicule de mica au-dessus pour l'isoler de la partie 1.
Un trou (non représenté) dans l'une des plaques, permet que le vide soit fait entre elles et peut être facilement re bouché par une goutte de soudure ou -de toute autre matière connue, par-exemple par fusion du tube d'aspiration, comme cela se pratique dans la fermeture des ampoules électriques.
La fig. 2 montre que l'élément chauffant de la fig. 1 repose sur un support présentant une couronne annulaire 5 permettant la flexion de l'élément sous le poids de la mar mite lorsque celle-ci a un fond légèrement bombé, ce qui assure un meilleur contact entre l'élément chauffant et la marmite. Ce sup port présente en outre une seconde couronne 6, plus basse que la première et déterminant la position de l'élément de chauffe avec un certain jeu.
Les fig. 3 et 4 montrent une variante du support. Celui-ci, désigné par 7, présente une couronne 8 jouant le même rôle que la cou ronne 6 de la fig. 2, mais la .couronne 5 y est remplacée par trois pivots 10 sur lesquels repose l'élément chauffant par l'intermédiaire d'étoiles à trois branches 9.
Les fig. 5 et 6 montrent, respectivement sous la forme achevée et sous une forme in achevée, une pièce métallique 13 servant de connexion entre le corps de chauffe et le sec teur de distribution. Cette pièce métallique présente une tête en forme de collet intro duite entre les plaques 11 et -12 qui corres pondent aux plaques 1 et -2 de la fig. 1. Cette pièce 13 présente un trou borgne axial dans lequel est fixée l'extrémité du fil 18 au moyen d'un coin 19. Entre la rivure 16 de la pièce 13 et la face extérieure de la plaque 12 sont interposées une rondelle 15 en mica et une rondelle 14 en métal.
L'extrémité 17 de la pièce 13 forme une douille de prise de courant. La fig. 6 montre qu'avant la rivure, la tête 20 s'appuie sur la plaque 12 par le bord d'une portée concave et que cette tête fléchit par l'effort de rivage, de manière à prendre la forme représentée en fig. 5.
L'avantage de l'appareil consiste d'une part en ce que, par le fait que tout l'élément chauffant peut être fait de matière souple, la matière isolante elle-même comprenant plusieurs feuilles 3, plus flexibles qu'une seule feuille de leur épaisseur totale, il peut, dans une certaine mesure, épouser la forme des fonds de marmites qui reposent sur lui D'autre part, grâce au fait que la plaque 1 est aussi flexible et qu'elle est soumise à la pression atmosphérique par l'extérieur, elle ne cesse d'exercer une pression sur toutes les parties du corps chauffant, même lorsque le poids d'une marmite impose à l'ensemble une déformation.

The part of the apparatus shown in fig. 1 is the heating element intended for example to receive a pot on its face 1. 11 is constituted by a heating body imprisoned in an enclosure hermetically closed by two flexible plates 1 and 2, the edges of which are curved so to fit into each other and to receive solder in their interstice 4. The heating body consists of a resistor formed by a wire 18 (fig. 5), placed on a plate formed by insulating plates 3 with a mica film on top to insulate it from part 1.
A hole (not shown) in one of the plates allows a vacuum to be created between them and can be easily re-plugged by a drop of solder or any other known material, for example by melting the suction tube , as is practiced in the closing of electric bulbs.
Fig. 2 shows that the heating element of FIG. 1 rests on a support having an annular ring 5 allowing the element to bend under the weight of the pot when the latter has a slightly convex bottom, which ensures better contact between the heating element and the pot. This support also has a second ring 6, lower than the first and determining the position of the heating element with a certain clearance.
Figs. 3 and 4 show a variant of the support. This, designated by 7, has a crown 8 playing the same role as the crown 6 of FIG. 2, but the crown 5 is replaced there by three pivots 10 on which the heating element rests by means of stars with three branches 9.
Figs. 5 and 6 show, respectively in completed form and in incomplete form, a metal part 13 serving as a connection between the heating body and the distribution sector. This metal part has a head in the form of a collar inserted between the plates 11 and -12 which correspond to the plates 1 and -2 of FIG. 1. This part 13 has an axial blind hole in which is fixed the end of the wire 18 by means of a wedge 19. Between the rivet 16 of the part 13 and the outer face of the plate 12 are interposed a washer 15 in mica and a metal washer 14.
The end 17 of the part 13 forms a socket outlet. Fig. 6 shows that before the riveting, the head 20 rests on the plate 12 by the edge of a concave bearing surface and that this head flexes by the shore force, so as to take the form shown in FIG. 5.
The advantage of the device consists on the one hand in that, by the fact that the entire heating element can be made of flexible material, the insulating material itself comprising several sheets 3, more flexible than a single sheet. of their total thickness, it can, to a certain extent, match the shape of the pot bottoms which rest on it.On the other hand, thanks to the fact that the plate 1 is also flexible and that it is subjected to atmospheric pressure by outside, it continues to exert pressure on all parts of the heating body, even when the weight of a pot imposes a deformation on the whole.
