Durchgangsventil.
Straight-way valve. The known straight-way valves and gate valves have the disadvantage that the shut-off parts in their open position sometimes offer considerable resistance to the flow of the liquid. In addition, the closure of these shut-off devices, which are often only operated at relatively long intervals, leaves something to be desired in terms of tightness due to the deposits of foreign bodies carried along by the flow of liquid.
These disadvantages are also shown by the shut-off elements designed as angle seat valves, primarily for greater performance.
The invention now aims to remedy these disadvantages in that the valve body of the straight-through valve consists of a cylinder sector-like body, whose outer surface in the closed position closes the inlet and outlet opening of the valve at the same time, and that the valve body with its flat side surfaces the also flat housing walls is performed directly. The housing can be lined with a soft metal and the valve body can be provided with soft clothing.
Thanks to the aforementioned shape of the valve body, sealing takes place on a continuously curved seat surface, the rinsing of which makes it difficult for impurities to deposit. In addition, the mutually working outer surfaces of the valve body and the seat result in very favorable flow conditions that allow the connection cross-section of the pipelines to be kept correspondingly larger by gradually expanding the clear cross-sections of the connection pieces. A completely shock-free closing is also ensured.
A break in the flow of liquid on the outflow side does not occur, even if the valve closes relatively quickly. The valve is therefore particularly suitable for large pipe cross-sections and quantities of liquid, but retains its good properties even with small dimensions for low flow quantities. In the drawing, an embodiment example of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated ver.
Fig. 1 shows a through valve in the middle section through the longitudinal axis; Fig. 2 is a side view of Fig. 1 in partial central section with the valve body in view; Fig. 3 shows a plan view of the valve housing according to FIG. 1 with the housing cover removed and the valve body removed; 4 and 5 show from the side and seen from the front a further embodiment form of the valve body.
The valve housing c connected with its connecting pieces a, b with the line ends is closed by a housing cover d, in the neck of which the valve spindle e with the collar f, secured against longitudinal displacement by the ring nut g, is rotatably superimposed. The valve spindle engages with a thread in the valve body h. The valve body h has the shape of a cylinder sector, the lateral surface of which is provided with a pad i made of rubber, lead or the like. The edition i can be firmly connected or clamped ver in any way with the outer surface.
The valve body can, for example, as shown in the drawing in FIGS. 1 and 2, be designed with surfaces inclined towards the center at the top, so that a good tensioning of the support -z is possible, which, with the inclusion of the wedge-shaped intermediate layer k, tightening the ring nut l screwed onto the neck of the valve body.
The sealing surface of the valve body and also the seat surfaces of the valve housing can also, as shown in Fig. 4 and 5 for the valve body, be curved surfaces on all sides, for example spherical surfaces, and the soft pad i can ments by pressing into recesses or des Valve body ft be firmly connected to this. The valve housing is provided with a lining m produced by injection molding or casting, for example made of lead, which forms a jacket surface n adapted to the curvature of the jacket surface of the valve body as a seat surface.
For better training of the coat respectively. The seat surface of the valve housing is expediently provided with a bulge at the bottom. The valve body h is guided with its flat side surfaces on the housing walls, which are also flat, and closes the inlet and outlet opening of the valve at the same time with its outer surface.
From the inlet opening to the outlet opening continuous smooth Man telfläche n of the seat makes it difficult to deposit from impurities. The lateral surfaces of the valve body and the seat that control the liquid keitsstrom result in gradual changes in cross-section in the various throttle positions of the valve, so that harmful eddies and resistances are avoided that could lead to shocks or tearing off the column of liquid.
As indicated in phantom in Fig. 1, with consideration of the favorable flow conditions in the valve, the connection pieces can be expanded conically towards the outside.
