Schuhwerb. Ein unangenehmer Nachteil der bisherigen Schuhe besteht darin, dass Wasser von aussen zwischen dem Oberleder und den Sohlen ein dringt. Man hat diesem Übelstand dadurch vorzubeugen gesucht, dass man zwischen Ober leder und Lederfutter eine Öltucheinlage ein schaltet, welche das Eindringen von Feuch tigkeit verhindern soll. Diese Massnahme ist erfahrungsgemäss nicht hinreichend.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt nun die vollkommene Abdichtung des Schuhwerkes an der Verbindungsstelle von Oberleder und Sohlen, so dass keine Feuchtigkeit in das Innere eindringen kann. Zu diesem Zwecke ist beim Schuhwerk gemäss der Erfindung zwischen Brandsohle und Laufsohle eine Gum misohle eingelegt, welche an der Befestigungs stelle des Oberleders mit der Brandsohle und der Lautsohle von den Verbindungsmitteln dieser Teile durchsetzt sind. Durch diese Gummisohle, die vorteilhaft aus bestem CrApe- (xucnmi besteht, wird die Verbindungsstelle der erwähnten Teile vollkommen nach aussen abgedichtet.
Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfin dungsgegenstandes, welches in der Zeichnung zum Teil im Schnitt dargestellt ist, bezeichnet ca das Oberleder, b die Laufsohle und c die Brandsohle. Zwischen der Laufsohle b und der Brandsohle c ist eine durchgehende Gummisohle d eingelegt, die zweckmässig aus bestem Crepe-Gummi besteht und an der Be festigungsstelle des Oberleders mit der Brand sohle und der Laufsohle von den Verbindungs mitteln dieser Teile, z. B. von einer Naht, von Stiften, oder, wie beim dargestellten Schuh, von den Schrauben, die zur Befesti gung der Laufsohle an dem Oberleder und der Brandsohle dienen, durchsetzt wird. Der Gummi der Sohle d schmiegt sich dabei voll ständig dem Gewinde der Schrauben an und schliesst so wasserdicht ab.
Auf diese Weise wird der Schuh an der Sohlenverbindungs stelle wasserdicht.
