Fig. 5 zeigt diesen Reflektor im Auf riss.
Headlights for automobiles. The subject of the present invention is a headlamp for power tools. In this headlight, the reflector is designed and the pear is so arranged, and there are also means that rotate around the axis of the pear and divide the light cone emitted by it in the periplierischer direction into individual bundles of Lieit, that individual, continuously circling bundles of Lielit are emitted at an angle inclined downwards to the direction of travel, in such a way that the angle of inclination of each light bundle is gradually reduced during a circling of a maximum value. This creates individual light reflexes moving forward on the road.
The purpose of this headlight is to draw the attention of other vehicles approaching a confusing intersection and at the same time to orient them using the direction of the signaling vehicle.
In the accompanying drawing, two exemplary embodiments of the subject invention are shown. Fig. 8 initially shows the effect of the headlight; the one on the right is designed as a signaling device for the headlights. The hatched areas on the road mean the dark ones, while the white ones represent the individual light reflections, i.e. the illuminated areas.
Fig. 2 and 3 show, as a special exemplary embodiment, the elevation and side elevation of the electric bulb. The glass balloon of the same is provided with segment-shaped, inward-looking mirror coatings. For the purpose of a good light yield, they are arranged in such a way that a mirror coating is opposite a free area on the glass balloon. This ensures that the light reflected back by the mirrors also reaches the exit. In Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, the hatched segments indicate the coverings.
In order to obtain colored Liell-treilex-e, Farba.-Lif carriers can be provided instead of the mirror segments.
Instead of the mirror or color coverings being applied directly to the glass balloon, they can be applied to a glass cylinder, the latter being placed over the bulb. In this case the pear remains fixed and the cylinder is rotatably arranged about its axis.
The shape of the reflector is determined by the arrangement of the bulb. The most advantageous designs are those in which the axis of the pear: a) runs parallel to the axis of the headlight; b) is horizontal, but forms an angle of 90 'with the headlamp axis. Fig. 4 shows the example of the production of the reflector for execution under a. The hatched sector V, which is bounded by a branch of a parabola C-D. see rotates with the axis of rotation x by 360 '. At the same time, the axis, with the focal point P of the parabola as the fulcrum, performs a decelerating, decreasing movement A to B. Line C-D then delimits the shape of the reflector.
Fig. 5 shows this reflector in crack. L is the electric bulb, which emits three light beams, labeled 1., 2. and 3, Fig. 6 shows the section A-B from the left, Fig. 7 the section seen from the right. The light bundle 1 (Fio. 6) leaves the headlight under the largest, to the direction of travel, which is shown by the dash-dotted line, downwardly inclined angle, whereby the same in the smallest Ent distance from the car hits the ground. The light bundle labeled 2 (Fig. 6 and 7) is already reflected at a smaller angle, so that it only hits the ground at a greater distance. The last bundle of light, marked 3 , runs in the direction of travel and only hits the ground at a greater distance.
In Fig. 5 and Fio. 6, the light beam 1 is initially emitted at the largest angle and then reduced its inclination angle when turning the bulb until it runs parallel to the headlight axis at the end of a turn. When you turn it further, the bundle of light is emitted again at the largest angle. As a result, the light reflections move forward when the bulb is turned on the ground. As a second embodiment, Fig. 1 shows that embodiment in which the axis of the pear is horizontal, but an angle of 90 'bil det with the headlight axis. The meridian section of the reflector is derived from the parabola. The lower branch of the parabolic curve is further removed from the horizontal like the upper one.
The electric bulb is at the focal point of the dash-dotted parabola and provides four light cones, labeled 1, 2, 3 and 4. As shown in FIG. 1, the light beam 1 leaves the headlight at the largest downward angle, causing the same in a small distance hits the ground. Of the remaining light bundles, labeled 2, 3 and 4, each of them leaves the headlight at a smaller angle than the previous one, as in FIG. 1, which causes the individual, successive light reflections on the . Floor arise.
The following describes the course of the light beam labeled 1 during one revolution of the bulb. According to Fig. 1 this light beam hits the reflector tor at its lower end; this means that the light beam is emitted at the greatest angle of inclination. When turning the bulb in the direction of the arrow, the light cone moves upwards on the reflector, whereby the angle of inclination steadily decreases; until the bundle of light runs parallel to the direction of travel as soon as the cone of light has reached the top of the headlight.
The light rays which do not hit the reflector are absorbed by the) screen 8 91. After one revolution, each bundle of light is again at the lower end of the reflector, so that each bundle of light is emitted anew under the largest muscle. This creates the lee reflexes that move evenly forward on the roadway.
In automobiles, one of the two handlamps can advantageously be replaced by the above headlights. This can be connected in parallel to the electric horn; in this way, an acoustic and an ap- tisclies signal are given. Since the normal headlight illuminates the road evenly, it must be switched off when the signaling device is activated.
