Item with high scaling resistance and high heat resistance. The invention relates to an object with high scaling resistance and high heat resistance, for example to a superheater tube for steam boilers, which at least partially consists of a particularly scale-resistant building material.
There are no scale-resistant alloys known whose scale resistance even reaches up to 13000 C, but due to the large amount of alloy components, among which chromium and nickel play a major role, they are once very expensive and continue to be either martensitic or austenitic, which makes them Example as superheater tubes are either unusable or at least unsuitable.
In addition, there is the need for a high hot yield point, which must be present for sufficient security against the high pressures at temperatures above 400 ° C .; It should be noted that only a gradual but not a rapid decrease in the yield strength values in the area between 400 and 600 0 0 is permissible and of particular importance.
Furthermore, the high heat resistance is usefully not a consequence of the carbon content, since the presence of free oxygen and free hydrogen (HZ development during electrolytic corrosion prevention, splitting of H20 due to the catalytic effect of the pipe walls made of alloyed material) in the superheated steam Decarburization can easily occur at the high temperatures and high pressures (this fact is known from the processes in which pressurized hydrogen is used ver) and the strength properties suffer dangerous changes.
Extensive investigations have now led to the use of a material corresponding to the above requirements, which has a pearlitic structure, is resistant to scaling up to at least 800 C, besides which ensures a high heat resistance and gradual drop in the yield point.
The object according to the present invention consists at least partially of a building material that contains 5-7% chromium and 0.5-3 '/ o aluminum. The carbon content can be less than 0.2%.
It is advisable to use molybdenum in an amount of 0.3-0.8%, vanadium in an amount of 0.05-0.1%, silicon below 2% and manganese below 1% as further alloy components.
The sulfur content should not exceed 0.021% if possible.
Superheater collecting boxes and other superheater elements, as well as superheater tubes, can be made from this steel, expediently by hot deformation.
A superheater that is to be used for high pressure steam boilers with high superheating, for example, has a construction material with the following compositions

The invention also includes other apparatuses that are subjected to similar working conditions as superheater tubes. Such apparatus are for example tubes, snakes and other hollow bodies in which air or other gases or liquid media are to be heated to high temperatures, or oil cracking and hydrogenation apparatus for refining coal, tar, 01, etc., and also those parts in front of) steam boilers exposed to high temperatures, e.g. support rods for superheaters, steam pipes, turbine parts, etc.
It is advisable to use higher chromium contents when the aluminum is kept low, and it has been shown that the aluminum content can be reduced to about 0.5% without reducing the scale resistance practically noticeably if the chromium content is used in large quantities of 5-7% and the sum of aluminum and silicon above about 1.20 /,). The resistance to the penetration of various gases into the grain boundaries, i.e. the resistance to the destruction of the intermediate substance, has increased rather than decreased.
At the same time, there is a further improvement in toughness and elongation.
