Gassellutzmaske.
Fig. 2 zeigt eine Seitena.nsieli,.
Gassellutzmaske. The previously known gas protective masks are only suitable for gas-clear adaptation to certain head sizes. So masks of different sizes are required for different head sizes. The size of a mask depends primarily on the length of the part of the sealing frame that runs over the cheeks and chin from <B> temple </B> to temple. The part of the wire frame that lies in front of the forehead is normally of the same length in masks of different sizes.
The subject matter of the present invention is a gas protective mask which is designed in a uniform size and which is suitable for gas-tight adaptation to all head sizes. This fundamental innovation is achieved by replacing the inextensible sealing frame with the previously manufactured masks with a sealing frame that allows you to stretch, for example an endless band over the chin, cheeks, temples and forehead running rubber plate.
The outer edge of this band is connected to the edge of the mask body, which is usually made of inextensible material, while the inner one expediently protrudes freely into the interior of the mask in such a way that a conical shape is created. However, so that the frame can expand, it is also necessary that the edge of the mask body can follow the expansion. For this purpose, when the mask body is attached to the sealing frame, the edge of the mask body is made flexible, for example by inserting folds into the body material.
The expandable frame can be provided for forehead and cheek sealing; In most cases, however, it is sufficient if only the part of the frame that runs over the cheeks and chin is stretchable. It is advantageous for a gas-tight fit of the mask if the cheek frame is designed in the shape of a shell at the point where it rests against the child so that it can serve as a chin rest. This firstly reduces the size of the frame opening and secondly ensures a good seal on the chin for particularly small heads.
The subject of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing, for example. Fio-. <B> 1 </B> shows a view into a mask, the side half of which facing the biter is partially removed up to the central plane of the mask. The mask part adjacent to the filter and the filter itself are drawn from the outside. Fig. 2 shows a Seitena.nsieli ,. This means: a the mask body, <B> b </B> the expandable sealing frame, which is attached to the undelinkable mask body.
The edge of the mask body is placed in folds <B> d </B> where it is attached to the elastic sealing frame, so that the edge of the mask can follow the expansion of the sealing frame. The shell-like widening of the cheek frame adjacent to the chin is denoted by c.
In Fig. 1, <B> g </B> represents the vertical center section of the forehead part and h. the vertical center section of the chin cup of the Steckrah mens <B> b </B>; the line i means the projection of the protruding into the interior of the mask free border of the stretching frame on the inside of the mask half facing away from the viewer.
The mask is manufactured in such a size that it fits heads of the lower size limit when the frame is unstretched. When placed on a large head, the sealing frame adjusts itself to the head size. Once a head missed, the length of the sealing frame can be determined, for example by means of a device as shown in FIG. 3.
Here, for example, inextensible straps e and e ', which are attached to the corners of the sea surface and which allow the extent of the mask edge to be limited to a fixed amount by means of snaps, buckles or the like, are routed along the edge of the mask.
