Description
Electric oven with resistance heating. The invention relates to an electric furnace with resistance heating of the material to be treated with the exclusion of air in a vacuum or under gas pressure.
In order to be able to replace the heating resistor while maintaining the furnace operation and preventing air from entering the furnace interior, according to the invention, the heating resistor is embedded in a heat-resistant support tube that is pressure- or vacuum-tight against the furnace chamber and that passes through the furnace wall out and is sealed against this at the insertion point pressure or vacuum tight.
In the drawing, an embodiment example of the invention is shown in Fig. 1 and 2 in different sections. a and b are the side walls of a ring furnace or a cylinder furnace, between which the Wi derstandsheizkörper c are conveniently mounted horizontally above the fixed or the moving table surface. The heating resistors c are spirally wound onto a heat-resistant carrier d.
The support with the heating resistor is embedded in a tube e made of heat-resistant material, which is closed pressure- or vacuum-tight at one end and pushed into the furnace from the outside through at least one of the furnace walls and pressure- or vacuum-tight at the point of introduction into the furnace is sealed against the furnace wall. The other end of the tube e can either be cantilevered inside the furnace, or supported on an intermediate wall, respectively. through the furnace chamber and stored in a niche of the ge opposite furnace wall, respectively. be pressure- or vacuum-tight through this.
In the tube e, the carrier d for the heating resistor is supported by support bodies f pushed over it, it being possible for the supports to be screwed on over the spirals of the heating resistor. The connection ends of the heating resistor are led to lead-through bolts gi, g2, which are insulated by means of the insulating body h and led out of the pipe e to the outside.
One end of the heating resistor is led back through a hole in the support rod to the connection end. The connection bolts are expediently screwed to the insulating body h.
Likewise, the Ti-agstab cl, for the heating resistor can be rigidly connected to the insulating body, so that when the insulating body is removed from the pipe, the heating resistor is simultaneously pulled out of the pipe and examined, respectively. can be repaired or replaced by another: The falling out of the insulating body lt is prevented by flanges i.
In order to achieve good heat distribution in the furnace, the number of turns of the spiral of the heating resistor on the furnace walls can be greater than in the middle of the furnace chamber.
