Der ganze Dichtungsring besteht bei dem dargestellten Ausftihrungsbeispiel gemäss Fig. 2 aus dem Mittelsteg 14 und den an den Enden des Mittelsteges aneinander stossenden Ringhälften 10. Der Einbau des Ringes wird in der Weise ausgeführt, dass zunächst der Mittelsteg iii deii \-O" (leii Aussparungen der flachen Wandengen :i (hvi. Zweigrohre gebildeten Kanal 15 cin@el@@;
Y-pipe sealing at the connection point to a fully cylindrical pipe, in particular high-pressure water pipe. The aim of the invention is to create a suitable seal at the junction of trousers pipes on a fully cylindrical pipe, in particular high-pressure water pipe.
Up to now, a uniform ring provided with a central web was usually used for this purpose, which was inserted directly between the fully cylindrical pipe and the two semi-cylindrical connection ends of the branches. In the case of this seal, the sealing point located between the flat walls of the branch pipes that nestle against one another is completely inaccessible after the pipes have been connected.
The invention eliminates this drawback. The new seal is characterized in that groove-like recesses are provided directly above the free end of a pipe socket holding the two legs of the Y-pipe together in the nestled flat walls of the branch pipes, which form a channel into which the joint between these flat walls sealing central web of a multi-part rings serving to seal the outer wall of the branch pipes from is attached.
This new training and arrangement of the sealing ring ensures that the ring is accessible from the outside at all points, making it easy to change both the ring and the sealing means located in the sealing joints, as well as monitoring the device during the Operation is made possible, with the premise that the connection of the Y-pipe to the fully cylindrical pipe is needed first. It is only necessary to loosen the fastening screws Be of the ring, whereupon BEZW after lifting. Remove the ring the sealing joints are freely accessible.
The drawing illustrates the invention using an exemplary embodiment. Fig. 1 shows the new Y-pipe partially in longitudinal section; Fig. 2 shows a special embodiment of the multi-part sealing ring provided with a central web.
The branch pipes 1 and 2 of the Y-pipe shown in FIG. 1 are held together at the connection ends by a shrunk-on pipe socket 7 which is equipped with a flange 8 for the purpose of connecting the Y-pipe to the fully cylindrical pipe 9. In the flat walls 3 of the semi-cylindrical branches 7 groove-like recesses are seen immediately above the free end of the pipe stub, the processing ring 10 form a channel 15 for receiving the central web 14 of the multi-part you.
This ring 10 has on its edge zones annular ribs 1-i for pressing the sealant into the annular sealing groove 12 located between the connecting ends of the branch pipes and the shrunk-on pipe socket 7 Rib is provided which presses the sealant into the part of the groove 12 lying between the flat walls 3 of the connection ends.
In the illustrated embodiment according to FIG. 2, the entire sealing ring consists of the central web 14 and the ring halves 10 abutting one another at the ends of the central web Recesses in the flat wall constrictions: i (hvi. Branch pipes formed channel 15 cin @ el @@;
t and fastened with screws. The two ring halves l U are then applied to the upper edge of the shrunk-on pipe socket 7 and screwed to the pipe socket.
The sealing ring can naturally also be divided in a different way and, for example, consist of two half-rings, each of which is provided with a radial extension serving to form the central web.
