Cable pulley for sanding wood and the like. Cable pulleys for sanding wood are known. But all have the disadvantage that the carrier to be connected to the object to be drawn is blunt on the front, so that it attaches to the smallest hindrance. That is on the sliding track, which leads to disturbances.
The subject of the present invention is a cable pulley for grinding wood and the like, in which this disadvantage is avoided in that the support of the roller is pointed towards the side towards which it is pulled during use.
If the roller carrier is made of wood, the tip is appropriately reinforced with metal.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown on the accompanying drawing drawing sheet.
Fig. 1 shows how the cable pulley is needed; Fig. 2 shows the cable pulley in elevation; Fig. 3 is the associated plan, and Fig. 4 is a cross section. The illustrated embodiment of the cable pulley has a pulley support housing made of wood.
The support housing is composed of an upper and a lower board 10 and each a short intermediate layer 11 at their ends, which four parts are screwed together by means of screws 13 for example. In the part of the housing located between the intermediate layers 11 and open on both sides, the roller 20 is arranged, protected from above and below and towards the ends of the housing.
Middle of the screw 19, the roller 20 sits firmly on the axis 18 and this axis 18 is rotatably mounted in the two bushes 17 used in the boards 10 th. 22 are the bushes 17 covering the outside cover, which are fastened by means of the screws 28 to the boards 10 and which close the space 23 left free in the bushes, which serves to lubricate the axle 18, to the outside. In the rear wooden intermediate layer 12, the bolt 25 with the eye 24 is rotatably supported. A ring 27 is passed through the eyelet 2.1, to which the object that is to be dragged is attached by means of a rope, etc., to wel chem.
The wooden boards 10 with the intermediate piece 11 are shaped on the side to which the cable roller carrier housing is pulled during use so that a point 1.1 is formed.
This tip can still be reinforced, for example by means of a semicircular iron 15. So that the rope that runs around the roller 20 does not get caught between the roller and the boards 10, one runs around both circumferential edges of the rope groove of the rope pulley 20 on the corresponding board 10 attached metal ring 21, which is ersicht from Fig. 4 Lich.
The use of the cable pulley can be seen from FIG. For example, 1 is a tree trunk that is about to be dragged. This tree trunk is connected to the ring 27 of the pulley housing, for example by means of a rope '31; then the rope 32, 33 is looped around the roller 20, one end of this rope is fastened to a pile 30 rammed into the ground and the rope end is pulled :; 34.
From FIG. 1 it is immediately clear that if an obstacle is placed against the pulley housing on the sliding track (the level is being dragged in the forest), the same is deflected because of the all-round tapering at the front end bis, sets known pulley housings, which are blunt at the front, is not the case.
