Description

Refrigeration system with an evaporator designed as an air cooler, in which the cold generated is primarily given off by air to a cooling room. The invention relates to a refrigeration system with an evaporator designed as an air cooler, in which the cold generated is primarily delivered by air to a cooling space and the evaporator consists at least partly of double-walled tubes, the outer space of which is filled with a freezable liquid .

The purpose of the invention is to create a refrigeration system of this type, which is compact, but a technical structure and in which the United evaporator at a standstill or loading. malfunction of the refrigeration system can keep the desired temperature in the cold room practically at the same level for a longer period of time. For this purpose, according to the invention, double-walled tubes of the evaporator form indirectly at least part of a partition wall between a part of the cooling space to be used for cooling purposes and a part of this space accommodating the evaporator. An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated by way of example and in a schematic manner in the accompanying drawing.

1 denotes a cold room insulated in a manner known per se and 2 a ventilator which is intended to drive an air stream in the direction of arrows A through the cold room 1 and via the evaporator 3 of the refrigeration system. The latter also has a compressor 4, a condenser 5 and a pressure reducing valve 6. The parts 4, 5, 6, 3 are connected to one another via lines 7 in which the refrigerant flows in the direction of the arrows B.

The air driven through the evaporator 3 is cooled and transfers at least part of the cold taken up in the process to the cooling space 1. The evaporator 3 is composed of simple finned tubes 8 and double-walled tubes 9. The outer space of the double-walled tubes 9 is filled with a freezable liquid, for example freezable brine. The double-walled tubes 9 now form together with them ver binding webs 10 directly a separation wall between a part of the cold room 1 of the refrigeration system to be used for cooling purposes and a part of this room 1 receiving the evaporator 3, which results in a simple and compact design.

The brine contained in the outer space of the double-walled tubes 9 emits some of the cold absorbed directly to the part of the cooling space 1 to be used for purposes of K ; At the same time, it is used in a known manner to store cold, in that it can be made to freeze and thus enables a large amount of cold to be stored with a small footprint.

If the compressor 4 is switched off, or if for any reason a malfunction occurs in the cooling system, so that it does not continue to work, the frozen sole gradually returns to the cold storage room 1, continuously releasing at least part of the stored cold. liquid state over. With the help of the double-walled tubes 9 it is thus possible to feed the cooling space with cold outside of the operating time of the compressor 4, so that the compressor 4 can be shut down for a longer period of time, which is all the more desirable as an all too frequent on and switching off the prime mover for this compressor is to be avoided as far as possible in very many cases. The type of construction described thus makes it possible, in the event of a standstill. B.

to keep the desired temperature in the refrigerator compartment 1 practically at the same level for a longer period of time during a normal break in operation, in the event of a standstill or a malfunction.

If desired, the wall, which separates the part of the cooling space 1 to be used for cooling purposes from the part of this space receiving the evaporator 3, only partially consists of double-walled tubes 9 and webs 10, while the remaining part is formed by simple or finned tubes 8 ge , or can also be designed differently. If desired, some of the ribbed tubes 8 shown in the figure can also be replaced by double-walled tubes 9.
