Gewindeschneidvorrichtung.
Thread cutting device. For thread cutting in scheibenför shaped workpieces, for example nuts, are known to find taps with ge curved shaft application, which is located in a correspondingly curved channel of a rotatable spindle and over which the workpieces run away after cutting the thread. The curved part of the drill shaft at the back serves as a crank to drive the tap.
Since it now happens that when the device is at a standstill or idling, some of the workpieces fall out of the rear end of the guide channel receiving the drill shaft and from the drill shaft, so that the tap loses its grip and gets play in the axial direction, i.e. no longer able is to continue working properly, the exit point of the guide channel has already been resiliently narrowed or the rear end of the drill shaft has been resiliently widened in such a way that the inhibition created in this way allows the workpieces to exit properly during normal operation,
but prevents the workpieces from falling out automatically during standstill.
The previously proposed Einrichtun conditions of this type are subject either to the disruptive and each different strong ken influence of the centrifugal effect or they are only useful for workpieces of very specific dimensions.
Here, the thread cutting device according to the invention is improved in that a device opposite the exit opening of the spindle channel is provided as an inhibition for the exiting workpieces, which exerts an inhibition on the workpieces that prevents the workpieces from falling out automatically. Prevents workpieces when the device is idle or at a standstill, but allows the workpieces to exit properly.
The tap a lies with its shank, as is known, in the guide channel b of a hollow spindle driven by means of a disk c in such a way that the workpieces e, after the nut thread has been cut into them by the cutting part of the tap a, migrate over the shank of the tap, respectively be moved by the workpieces that are still in the area of the threaded part of the Ge tap At the rear end of the channel, the workpieces emerge and pass through an outlet opening f to the outside.
The unintentional falling out of the last Werli: pieces from the channel of the hollow spindle is now prevented by the fact that the emerging workpieces are opposed by a spring-acting bolt g. A thread cut on the bolt shank and a nut seated on it allow the spring to be tensioned so that unintentional falling out of the work pieces is reliably prevented, while the normal exit of the work pieces is possible during operation of the device.
