Device for the protection of three-phase networks. Devices for protection. of three-phase networks with a single relay that works as a function of the ratio between the voltage and current of the short circuit are known. The current coil of the relay is excited by the difference in the currents in two phases. The voltage coil is switched to the voltage of the lines affected by the fault by switching devices.
According to the invention, the voltage coil of a device for protecting three-phase networks, which works as a function of the ratio between the current strength and the voltage of the short-circuit circuit and in which the current flushes from the difference in the currents in two of the three Phase lines is excited, and which also has switching devices for connecting the voltage coil to the voltage between "the phase lines affected by the error, in the event of a fault between those phase lines whose currents act on the current coil of the relay, of a double size,
the voltage between the affected phase lines fed proportional voltage as in a short circuit between one of these two phase lines and the third phase line. This arrangement ensures that the quotient relay is supplied with the correct ratio of current and voltage (impedance) of the short-circuit circuit in every malfunction. This is important for selective protection insofar as the tripping time depends on the size of the impedance.
In the known arrangement, in the event of a short circuit between those phases whose current difference is fed to the current coil of the quotient relay, the voltage coil is applied to the simple chained voltage as in the other cases.
However, since the current fed to the current coil of the quotient relay is twice as large as in the other two cases (assuming the same short-circuit current and the same fault location distance in all cases), the impedance appears in the known arrangement in these two Cases twice as large, i.e. the relay works with twice as long a delay as would be necessary. This disadvantage is avoided by the invention.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in FIG. 1. <I> R </I> S <I> T </I> are the three lines of a three-phase network. Current converters 2 and 3 are located in the two lines S and <I> T </I>. The secondary windings of the two current converters 2 and 3 are connected to one another in a known manner. In parallel with them is the current coil 41 of a quotient relay 4, which is the difference between the currents in the two. Current transformers is supplied. Overcurrent relays 5 and 6 are located in the connection lines of the current transformers.
These control changeover relays 7 and B. 9 and 10 are voltage converters. 11 is a directional relay, the current coil 111 of which is in series with the current coil 41 of the quotient relay parallel to the secondary windings of the current transformers 2 and 3 and is also excited by the difference in the currents in the two phases S and T. The voltage coil 112 of the direction relay 1.1 is parallel to the voltage coil 42 of the quotient relay and gets the same voltage as this in all cases. In the event of a short circuit, for example between phases R and T, an overcurrent flows in these two lines.
The current in phase S is negligibly small. The current coil 41 of the quotient relay 4 is excited in accordance with the overcurrent flowing in the line T, which also excites the current coil 111 of the directional relay 11. The overcurrent relay 5, which is located in the circuit formed by the current transformer 3 and the two current coils 41 and 11.1. responds and closes his contact 51.
The overcurrent relay 6 cannot respond because the line S does not carry an overcurrent. .When the contact 51st is closed, the switch relay 7 is energized and brings the switch 71, 72, 73 controlled by it into contact with their working contacts. When the changeover switch 73 touches its normally open contact, the voltage coils 42 and 112 of the quotient and direction relay receive the linked voltage between the phases R and T via the voltage converters 9 and 10.
As a result, the quotient relay adjusts its pointer 43 in the opposite direction to the clock according to the ratio of current and voltage in the short circuit of phases R and T. At the same time, a timer 44 is set in circulation and thereby the con tact lever 45 with a certain speed is also rotated counter to the clock clockwise. After a certain time, which corresponds to the deflection of the pointer 43, the contact lever 45 comes into contact with the pointer 43.
If the overcurrent flows in such a direction that the direction relay 11 closes its contact <B> 113 </B>, the tripping circuit controlled by the quadrant relay is now closed and the faulty line is switched off.
In the event of a short circuit between lines R and S, the same processes take place, with the exception that it is not the overcurrent relay 5, but the overcurrent relay 6 and thus the switch relay 8 that is energized. In this case, the linked voltage of phases S and R is fed to voltage coil 42 of quotient relay 4. In this case, the quotient relay 4 switches off according to the ratio of current and voltage in the R and S phases.
The changeover switches 81 and 82 of the changeover relay and the changeover switches 79 and 73 of the changeover relay 7 are switched so that in the event of a short circuit between the phases R and T, the circuit of the voltage coil of the quotient relay is only closed can be energized when the changeover relay 7 is energized, the changeover relay 8 is de-energized, that is, when the changeover switches 71 to 73 touch their normally open contacts and the switches 81 to 83 touch their normally closed contacts.
In the same way, the quotient relay only receives voltage in the event of a short circuit between the phases R and S when the switching relay 8 is energized, but the switching relay 7 is de-energized.
In the event of a short circuit between phases <B> 8 </B> and T, the current coil 41 of the quotient relay receives a current of twice the size as in the two cases described, since in this case the two lines <B> 8 < / B> and T lead to overcurrent. As a result, the two overcurrent relays 5 and 6 respond, and both IJmschaltelais 7 and 8 are energized. So that the correct ratio of current and voltage is fed to the quotient relay, since the current coil carries twice the current, the voltage coil must receive twice the linked voltage of the phases AS 'and T.
For this purpose, one winding 102 of the voltage converter 10 has twice as many turns as the other two windings 101, 103. In this case too, the direction relay 11 again receives the same voltage as the zero-sequence relay. The circuit of the two voltage coils 42 and 112 runs via the changeover switches 83 and 71, and their working contacts, that is, only when both relays 7 and 8 respond, the quotient relay receives double the linked voltage.
Fig. 2 shows another exemplary embodiment according to the invention. As in Fig. 1, the current transformers 2 and 3 are also located in the two lines k9 'and T, the secondary windings of which are connected in a cross against one another, so that the current coil of the source relay lying parallel to them is affected by the difference in currents iii the two phases S and T is excited.
The overcurrent relays 5 and 6 are again located in the connection lines of the current transformers. 11 is the direction relay, its <B> Sf </B> rom coil connected in series with the current coil and its voltage coil parallel to the voltage coil of the quotient relay
