Asynchronous machine with a commutator rear machine excited by the mains voltage of the main machine. The main patent relates to an arrangement for the excitation of the commutator rear machine of asynchronous machines, by means of which it is achieved that when the mains voltage drops, the excitation of the commutator rear machine and thus also the excitation of the asynchronous machine, similar to synchronous machines, remains constant or even amplified . Such a mode of operation is particularly desirable in reactive power machines or generators in order to maintain the voltage as much as possible in the event of a fault in the network, for example a short circuit.
In order to achieve this, according to the main patent, the commutator rear machine is excited by the mains voltage directly or via voltage or frequency converters, and on the one hand there are magnetic inductive circuits that belong to the excitation circuit of the rear machine or are connected in parallel to it, essentially in the iron. vities are provided which are excited with a voltage proportional to the mains voltage and which are dimensioned in such a way that there is no longer any proportionality between magnetizing current and voltage at them with normal mains voltage or immediately when it is exceeded due to iron saturation.
On the other hand, further inductivities are provided by the magnetizing current of the iron-saturated inductance, the voltage of which is fed to the excitation winding of the commutator rear machine in counter-circuit with the mains voltage. If the mains voltage falls for any reason, then that excitation voltage on the commutator rear machine that is supplied directly from the mains also falls. At the same time, however, the magnetizing current of the iron-saturated inductances also falls, and to a much greater extent.
Since this magnetizing current also flows through the second-mentioned inductances, they develop a considerably lower counter voltage than before, so that the total voltage on the excitation winding of the commutator rear machine remains the same despite a drop in the mains voltage, or even increases if the line voltage drops. The present invention relates to an improvement in this arrangement. According to the invention, the excited by the magnetizing current of the iron-saturated inductances In ductility is designed as a non-reactive transformer. This means that the influence of iron saturation on one inductance can have a full effect for the intended purpose and is not partially canceled out by transformer feedback.
The non-reactivity of the transformer can be achieved in a well-known manner that the magnetization current of the transformer is expediently chosen to be very high by arranging a correspondingly large air gap, so that changes in the secondary current in the transformer account for the entire primary current, which is for the most part magnetization current , do not change significantly. In the drawing, the new arrangement is illustrated using an example. 1 is an asynchronous reactive power machine which feeds a transmission system and to which the excitation is fed via the commutator rear machine 2. The commutator rear machine has a compensation winding 8 and an exciter winding 9 in the stator. A loading machine 6 is used to drive it.
The excitation winding 9 is fed from the network via the frequency converter 10 and a regulating transformer 11. In the secondary current circuit of this regulating transformer 11, a non-reactive current transformer 12 is now switched on, the primary winding of which is connected in series with inductors 5 connected in star to the network. The secondary voltages of the transformers 11 and 12 act against each other, where the secondary voltage of the transformer 11 is largely canceled by that of the transformer 12. The choke coils 5 work at normal mains voltage at a point on the magnetization curve where there is no longer any proportionality between current and voltage's rule.
Therefore, if the voltage of the network feeding the reactive power machine drops, then the voltage of the transformer 11 also drops, but the magnetization current of the inductors 5 and thus also the secondary voltage of the transformer 12 drops to an even greater extent, so that the slip rings on the slip rings of the frequency converter 10 occurring difference between the voltages of the transformers 11 and 12 remains constant BEZW. still increasing.
As with the arrangements of the main patent, the present arrangement could also be combined with facilities in which, when the mains voltage drops, the excitation of the commutator rear machine is strengthened by relays, for example in the excitation circuit of the rear machine or the asynchronous machine Ohmic resistances can be switched off by short-circuiting.
