Die Wirkungsweise dieser Verstellvor- richtung ist folgende: Beim Abwärtsgang des Kolbens im Ge häuse 9 verschwenkt die Kolbenstange 7 das Hebelwerk 19, 18, 17 abwärts, wodurch die Glasscheibe 1 abwärtsgezogen wird;
Adjusting device for sliding windows, in particular for vehicles. The subject of the main patent is an adjustment device for sliding windows, in particular of vehicles, in which the displacement of the window BEZW with the help of a print medium. is effected by generating pressure differences in a piston housing, in which a lever mechanism controllable from the piston housing with a pressure lever, which is connected by a link of the type with an actuating lever acting on the window and approximately in the same direction as the pressure lever,
that in the closed position of the window the joint of the pressure lever and handlebar is at least in the dead center position and is supported against the adjusting lever.
According to the present invention, a further embodiment of this adjustment device is that a locking arm is articulated on the control lever of the lever system, which can interact in one direction of movement of the lever system with a toothing of the opposite pressure lever, for the purpose of automatically securing the window moved from the closed position the new position, while the locking arm in the opposite direction of movement of the lever mechanism is automatically held out of engagement with the aforementioned toothing in order to be able to move the window back into the closed position.
An adjustment device designed in this way is illustrated in the drawing in an exemplary embodiment with the window partially open.
Fig. 1 is an elevation with a dash-dotted line drawn second position of the lever mechanism; Fig. 2 shows the lever, Erk on a larger scale in this second position.
1 denotes a pane of glass which can be slid up and down in the frame 2. and through a guide rail:; is connected to the Rollc 4 of the lever 17. With the adjusting lever 17, which has a fixed axis of rotation 6, is through the handlebar 18 of the pressure lever 19 in motion connection, which a <fixed axis of rotation 20 is given. The handlebar 18 is connected to the levers 19, 17 by bolts 21, 21.
With the pressure lever 19 is a piston rod 7, the piston is in a zy-cylindrical housing 9, connected. The piston rod 7 acts by means of a slot 25 with a pin 26 of the pressure lever 19 together. The piston housing 9 has connecting pieces 10, 11 at both ends for pressure lines for the purpose of supplying a pressure medium, such as air or liquid, into the piston housing. A control (not shown) allows the pressure medium to be fed through the upper or lower nozzle into the housing 9 and thereby to one or the other side of the piston, depending on whether it and thus the glass pane 1 are to be lowered or raised.
A support lever 28, on which the locking arm 29 is pivotably mounted, is hinged to the adjusting lever 17 by a bolt 27. The support lever 28 strives to rest or under the influence of its own weight on the pressure lever 19. to a toothing 31 provided on this for the locking arm 29. The pivoting movement of the locking arm 29 is limited by the fact that its shoulder surface strikes a counter surface 32 on the support lever 28, in which sense the locking arm 29 is influenced by a leaf spring 30. By acting on the adjusting lever 17 tension spring 33, the weight of the resting on this lever glass disc 1 is compensated especially in the lower layers at approximately.
This tension spring 33 endeavors to influence the adjusting lever 17 in terms of its upward movement by being tensioned during the downward movement of the glass pane 1.
The mode of operation of this adjustment device is as follows: When the piston in the housing 9 descends, the piston rod 7 pivots the lever mechanism 19, 18, 17 downwards, as a result of which the glass pane 1 is pulled downwards;
In Fig. 1 it is assumed that the disk 1 is in downward movement. ) Vein this downward movement of the glass pane 1, as a result of the interruption of the pressure previously exerted on the piston in the housing 9, stops after the locking arm 29 has come into the area of the toothing 31, then the spring 33 The desired upward movement of the lever mechanism 17, 18, 19 of the locking arm 29 will find resistance in the tooth gap of the toothing 31 which it just touched.
This prevents the upward movement of the lever mechanism 17, 18, 19, so that the glass pane 1 is secured in the corresponding intermediate position or, if necessary, in the lowest position.
For the purpose of sliding the glass hatchet:, c 1 respectively. Returning the same to the closed position, the upward movement of the piston in the housing 9 is caused.
The piston rod 7, which then moves upwards, initially runs empty according to the length of its slot 25, but then pushes the protruding lever 28 upwards by means of its upper end, with the locking arm 29 is first slightly pivoted against the pressure of the spring 30 by giving him the toothing 31 as a support or. Pivot point serves: as a result, the locking arm 29 is easily notched from the toothing 31, whereupon the locking of the lever works 17, 18, 19 is canceled. The downward piston rod 7 takes the pressure lever 19 with it, whereby the whole lever mechanism is pivoted upwards and accordingly the glass pane 1 is pushed upwards.
In the closed position of the glass pane 1, the hinge pin 31 lies above the connecting line of the axes of rotation 20, 22, that is to say above the dead center position, with the handlebar 18 resting on the adjusting lever 17. As a result, the lever mechanism 17, 18, 19 and thus the glass pane 1 is secured in the appropriate position.
A wire spring could be attached to a small boom of the adjusting lever 17, one end of which would rest on the pressure lever 19, for the purpose of influencing the same in the direction against the adjusting lever 17, thereby making it easier to exceed the dead center position.
