  Verfahren zur Darstellung einer auf die     Baumwolle    ziehenden und auf der Faser       diazotierbaren    Verbindung.    Das den Gegenstand vorliegender Er  findung bildende Verfahren ist dadurch ge  kennzeichnet, dass man aus zwei Molekülen

    durch vorsichtige Reduktion je einer     Nitro-          gruppe,    wobei Bindung zwischen den     Stiek-          stoffatomen    stattfindet, und eine sich an  schliessende Reduktion der beiden übrig  bleibenden     Nitrogruppen    zu     Aminogruppen     eine schwach gelb gefärbte Verbindung her  stellt,

   die als     Natriumsalz    in Wasser leicht  löslich ist und aus der wässerigen Lösung  mit     blassgelber    Farbe auf Baumwolle zieht.  Durch     Diazotieren    auf der Faser und Kup  peln mit 1-     Phenyl    -<B>3</B> -     methyl    - 5-     pyrazolon       4.     4'-Di-        (.4"-        nitrobenzoylamino)    -     diphenyl-          .    2'-     disulfosäure       erhält man ein kräftiges, lebhaftes,     gxün-          stichiges    Gelb von sehr guter Wasch- und  Lichtechtheit.

   Die beiden Reduktionsreak  tionen kann man in einem Arbeitsgange  ausführen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  <B>68,6</B> Teile     4.4'-di-(4"-nitrobenzolamino)-          diphenyl-?    .     2'-disulfosaures    Natrium werden  in 1500 Teilen Wasser heiss gelöst. Man setzt  bei 20   eine Lösung von 8 Teilen Natrium-           hydroxyd    und     ?0    Teilen wasserfreiem Na  triumsulfid hinzu und lässt     ?0    Stunden rüh  ren. Das     ausgesaIzene    Reaktionsprodukt kann  aus Wasser umgelöst     werden.     



  Als     Reduktionsmittel    kann man unter an  derem auch Glukose,     arsenige    Säure oder  Zinkstaub verwenden.
