Description

  

  Schutzdeckel für Gewehrläufe.    Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein  Schutzdeckel für Gewehrläufe. Es ist be  kanntlich unerlässlich, die Gewehrläufe gegen  das Eindringen von Regenwasser und Ver  unreinigungen; wie Sand und dergleichen, zu  schützen. Die bisher verwendeten metallischen  Schutzdeckel waren teuer und mussten selbst  bei grösster Eile vor dem Schiessen entfernt  werden, um nicht die     Schussgenauigkeit    zu  beeinträchtigen oder gar in der Nähe befind  liche Personen zu gefährden. Diese Nachteile  sollen durch den Schutzdeckel gemäss der  Erfindung dadurch beseitigt werden, dass der  selbe durch eine auf das Laufende aufzu  streifende Kappe aus Weichgummi gebildet ist.  



  Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungs  gegenstandes ist in der Zeichnung im Schnitt  dargestellt.  



  Auf das vordere Ende des Gewehrlaufes  1 ist zum Schutz gegen Eindringen von  Fremdkörpern und Nässe eine Kappe 2 aus  Weichgummi aufgesetzt, welche dehnbar ist  und deshalb leicht aufgesetzt und abgestreift  werden kann. Falls jedoch wirklich einmal    in solch grosser Eile ein Schuss abgegeben  werden soll, dass keine Zeit zum Abstreifen  der Kappe mehr bleibt, so wird das Geschoss  durch die Kappe nicht beeinflusst, und die  selbe kann keine Verletzungen verursachen,  wenn sie vor dem Heraustreten des Ge  schosses aus dem Lauf abfliegt, anstatt vorn  Geschoss durchbohrt oder zerrissen zu werden.  



  Die Kappe könnte auch mit einem seit-,       lichen    Ausschnitt versehen sein, um dieselbe  auf Jagdgewehre oder Pistolen aufsetzen zu  können, bei welchen am vordern Laufende  das Korn sitzt.  



  Ferner könnte die Kappe zwecks Auf  setzens auf Doppelbüchsen oder auch auf  sogenannte Drillinge zwei oder dreiteilig aus  gebildet sein.

It is well known that the gun barrels against the penetration of rainwater and impurities; like sand and the like to protect. The metallic protective covers previously used were expensive and had to be removed before shooting, even in the greatest hurry, in order not to impair the accuracy of the shot or even to endanger people in the vicinity. These disadvantages are to be eliminated by the protective cover according to the invention in that the same is formed by a soft rubber cap that can be stripped onto the barrel.



  An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in section in the drawing.



  To protect against the ingress of foreign bodies and moisture, a cap 2 made of soft rubber is placed on the front end of the rifle barrel 1, which is elastic and can therefore be easily placed on and stripped off. However, if a shot is really to be fired in such a great hurry that there is no more time to remove the cap, the bullet is not influenced by the cap, and the same cannot cause any injuries if it is shot before the bullet emerges flies off the barrel instead of being pierced or torn by the bullet.



  The cap could also be provided with a side cutout in order to be able to put the same on hunting rifles or pistols, in which the front end of the grain sits.



  Furthermore, the cap could be formed in two or three parts for the purpose of putting on double rifles or on so-called triplets.

PATENT CLAIM: Protective cover for gun barrels, characterized in that the same is formed by a soft rubber cap to be slipped onto the barrel end. SUB-CLAIM: 1. Protective cover according to claim, characterized in that the cap has a lateral slot. 2. Protective cover according to claim, characterized in that the cap is in several parts for the purpose of being placed on multi-barreled Ge rifles.
