Device for shut-off valves with presetting. Shut-off valves riding. Ge secured against rotation, guided in the axial direction valve body are known. In these Ven valves, the spindle is rotated without an axial movement ring when the valve is operated. The valve body sits on a thread of the spindle and is guided on the housing wall by means of lateral approaches in a groove parallel to the spindle axis.
The purpose of this device is to protect the stuffing box packing ring and the valve seat.
This training creates difficulties in valves with presetting by means of a rotary sleeve because the rotary sleeve causing the presetting surrounds the valve body and must be rotatable around the valve body, so a guide between the valve body and the housing wall cannot be provided without the entire construction to change in a cumbersome way.
According to the invention, this difficulty with valves with pre-setting ver means of a rotary liner thereby completely

This includes with the edges h the longitudinal edges of the lower part e of the adjustment sleeve. The spindle i engages with the thread k in the valve body. The axial movement of the spindle is prevented by the collar l . in is a union nut to fix the setting sleeve.
If the valve spindle is rotated, the valve body slides up or down on it, without being able to rotate because of its leadership on the longitudinal edges of the lower part of the adjusting sleeve.
