Description
Additional patent to the main patent no. 136162. II daytime flow switch. The present invention is a further embodiment of the maximum current switch characterized in the claim of the main patent. According to the additional invention, an auxiliary device is seen, which reduces sparks when switching off in the event of inadmissible large overloads.
The accompanying drawing illustrates an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. The current flows from a via b, c (mounted in pivot point d) via coil S and via l and m and partly via n and o to p. < / I> In the event of small overloads, the coil rS pulls up the armature A and the pawl 7c releases contact c. In the event of large overloads and short circuits, not only does armature A go high, but armature T is also attracted to the coil.
As a result, the contact m, which is rotatably mounted in q, is lifted from the contact l, and the current can only flow through the resistor o until the contacts b and c are interrupted. As a result, a high current cannot develop and the interruption at b and c takes place with very little spark formation.
