Description
Gleitboot. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Gleitboot, mit welchem eine Erhöhung der Geschwindigkeit durch Verringerung des Reibungswiderstandes auf dem Wasser erzielt werden soll.
Dies wird beim Gleitboot gemäss der Er findung dadurch erreicht, dass seine Gleit fläche durch ein über Walzen laufendes be wegliches Band ohne Ende gebildet wird zum Zweck, die gleitende Reibung des Boot- hörpers auf dem Wasser zu verringern.
Ausführungsformen des Erfindungs gegenstandes sind in der Zeichnung darge stellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 eine erste Ausführungsform in Ansicht mit teilweisem Schnitt, Fig. 2 eine Teilansicht einer weiteren Ausführungsform.
1 ist ein Gleitboot bekannter Bauart mit Aussenbordmotor 2. Am hintern Teil des Bootkörpers sind zwei Walzen 3 von an nähernd gleicher Länge wie die Breite des Bootkörpers parallel zueinander gelagert, und über beide läuft ein Band ohne Ende 4. Die hintere Walze wird mittelst eines Ket tentriebes und Zahnradvorgeleges vom Motor 2 aus angetrieben, so dass die Geschwindig keit der Walze und mithin des Bandes stets jener des Bootes entspricht. Das Band wälzt sich infolgedessen auf dem Wasser ab und es wird infolgedessen die gleitende Reibung auf ein Minimum verringert.
Das Band 4 kann aus Stahl oder einem andern geeigneten Material, zum Beispiel Balata, bestehen. Es muss nicht unbedingt ein Kraftantrieb des Bandes bezw. der Wal en vorgesehen sein, sondern bei :guter Lage rung der Walzen wird sich das Band allein durch die Reibung auf dem Wasser drehen.
Es kann auch nach der in Fig. 2 darge stellten Ausführungsform die Bandbewe gung erzwungen werden mit Hilfe von kleinen, auf die Achse der hintern Walze beiderends aufgesetzten Schaufelrädern 6, so dass das Band unabhängig vom Motor ist und stets proportional mit der Geschwindig keit des Bootes läuft. Es könnte auch ein besonderer Motor zum Antrieb des Bandes vorgesehen sein.

1 is a well-known planing boat with an outboard motor 2. On the rear part of the boat body, two rollers 3 of approximately the same length as the width of the boat body are mounted parallel to each other, and over both runs a belt without an end 4. The rear roller is by means of a Ket tentriebes and gear train driven by the motor 2, so that the speed of the roller and therefore the belt always corresponds to that of the boat. As a result, the tape rolls on the water and the sliding friction is reduced to a minimum as a result.
The band 4 can be made of steel or some other suitable material, for example balata. It does not necessarily have to be a power drive of the belt. the rollers should be provided, but if the rollers are in good position, the belt will rotate solely due to the friction on the water.
It can also be enforced according to the embodiment shown in Fig. 2 Darge Bandbewe supply with the help of small paddle wheels 6 placed on the axis of the rear roller at both ends, so that the band is independent of the motor and always proportional to the speed of the boat running. A special motor could also be provided to drive the belt.
