Les montres actuelles et notamment les montres portées an poignet à l'aide d'un bracelet souple en cuir, ou autre, offrent l'inconvénient, d'une part, que l'organe de remontoir en saillie constitue une gêne pour le porteur de la montre, et, en même temps, un danger de rupture ou d'avarie pour cet organe. D'autre part, le verre qui protège le cadran et les aiguilles de la montre con stitue la partie la plus exposée de celle-ci et est, par conséquent, sujet à recevoir des chocs déterminant sa rupture.
La présente invention remédie dans une certaine mesure à ces inconvénients par le fait que le boîtier de montre est monté dans un cadre comportant au moins un logement pour l'organe de remontoir faisant saillie sur ledit boîtier, une bordure proéminente étant ménagé sur la face antérieure du cadre, au moins sur une partie du pourtour de ce dernier.

La montre 1, de forme quadrangulaire, est logée dans un cadre 5 formant le sup port protecteur et auquel elle est reliée par une charnière comprenant plusieurs charrie- rons 2, 4 et une broche 3. Le cadre com porte deux anses formées par des barëttes 6, 7, auxquelles sont reliés les organes d'attache 8<B>(hg.</B> 8) permettant de porter la montre au bras en guise de bracelet.
Des évidements 9, 10 sont ménagés dans le cadre 5 qui servent de logement à l'on- glette d'ouverture 11, ainsi qu'à la couronne de remontoir 12, de telle sorte que, lorsque la montre occupe la position normale, rabat tue dans son cadre 5, comme représenté aux fig. 1 à 4, aucune partie de la montre ne fait saillie sur le cadre 5.
Dans le but d'assurer une protection du verre de la montre 1 contre les chocs, il est ménagé sur la face antérieure du cadre 5, des rebords proéminents 13, de forme quel conque, protégeant ainsi le verre de la mon tre contre les chocs.
En position normale, la montre est main tenue dans le cadre 5, soit par friction ou par la pression du poignet agissant sur le boîtier de la montre, lorsque cette dernière est portée en bracelet, soit par dispositif de fermeture ou de verrouillage approprié, dans le cas oiz la montre serait portée autrement qu'en bracelet. Un tel dispositif n'offrant ex térieurement aucune saillie peut être aisé ment réalisé.
Pour remonter la montre ou en remettre à l'heure les aiguilles, on la dégage du ca dre 5; en la faisant basculer autour de la charnière pour l'amener dans la position de la fig. 8.
Le cadre 5 pourrait comporter une seule bordure proéminente 13, s'étendant tout au tour du verre de la montre.
D'autre part, il n'est pas essentiel que le cadre comporte des anses, car la montre pourrait être portée autrement qu'au poignet.
La forme de la montre et de son sup port peut différer de l'exemple représenté.

Watch 1, quadrangular in shape, is housed in a frame 5 forming the protective support and to which it is connected by a hinge comprising several cartons 2, 4 and a pin 3.
