Description
Embroidered fabric for making pleated embroidery. The subject matter of the invention is a fabric provided with embroidery, which is used to produce pleated embroidery goods. These embroidery products produce new types of embroidery effects and can be used for a wide variety of purposes. When the subject of the invention, the embroidery pattern is distributed over several parts of the embroidery base. These areas are separated by embroidery base strips (separating strips), which are covered when the fabric is pleated.
As a result, the embroidery pattern appears coherent after pleating.
The separating strips can be designed in different ways, and depending on their training, special effects are produced in the overall embroidery pattern. In one embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, the parting strips are left unstitched. After pleating, the motifs of the overall embroidery pattern come partly on the simple fabric and partly on the pleated fabric. A single image can also be partly on the plain fabric and partly on the pleated fabric.
This creates a certain relief effect in the embroidery design. The embroidery effect can be further influenced by the choice of different colors and different embroidery materials for the parts to be placed on the simple fabric and the pleated fabric.
The dividing strips can also be embroidered with isolated motifs. These motifs can, for example, correspond to partial motifs of the overall embroidery pattern in terms of shape and size, and be arranged on the separating strips in such a way that, after pleating, they come to lie exactly under the corresponding partial motifs of the overall embroidery pattern.
This creates an increased relief effect. In this case, the pleating is expediently sewn in a suitable manner, with the seams being able to produce a further decorative effect.
A cheaper embroidery material can be used to embroider the pieces of fabric below in the pleated fabric than for the pieces of fabric on top. It is also possible to make perforations in the overall embroidery pattern in such a way that they come to rest on the pleated fabric after blotting. Auxiliary motifs are now embroidered on the dividing strip in such a way that they are visible through the openings mentioned.
In another embodiment, these auxiliary motifs can also be formed as openings and have the same shape but greater width than the openings above, so that the openings below one another gradually increase in width downwards. This creates a particularly peculiar effect when the light shines through.
A further decorative effect can be achieved by arranging openings in the embroidery pattern. After pleating, tapes are pulled through these perforations in such a way that the same thing runs under the pleated part. Of course, by choosing the right material and color for the ribbons, the embroidery ware can have a beautiful, decorative appearance.
For fabrics that are to be used for the production of pleated tuehli, the overall embroidery pattern is divided into two directions that cross at right angles by separating strips. The fabric faces vertically after pleating. facing each other. All of the special embodiments mentioned above can of course also be used for this substance.
The fabric can be embroidered on the hand embroidery machine or on the Sehiffli stickmasAine, and the fabric can also be embroidered using Lorrain embroidery. As an embroidery base, all types of fabric customary in embroidery for various purposes can be used, applications and other known means can also be used to increase the decorative effect.
The pleated blind can be produced in a wide variety of widths and two or more.
