Bei Waschtischen, und zwar insbesondere bei solchen für Friseure, werden die mit biegsamen Metallschläuchen versehenen Du schenköpfe in wagrechter Lage auf Haltern ähnlich denen bei Telephonhörern über dem Becken aufgelagert, da eine Aufhängung in folge des unmittelbar über dein Waschtisch befindlichen Spiegels nicht geeignet wäre und auch raumbeengend wirken würde.
In folge des Gewichtes des stets mit Nasser gefüllten Metallschlauches besitzt der Du schenkopf aber die Neigung, von seinem Lager abzurutschen, sofern er nicht eine für die Bedienung lästige besondere Befestigung erhält. Ein nicht sorgfältig auf dem Halter aufgelegter und daher umschlagender Du schenkopf gefährdet aber die meist aus zer brechlichem Stoff bestehenden Waschbecken und Waschtischgeräte.
Gemäss der Erfindung ist der die Hand dusche tragende Schlauch durch eine Durch brechung des Waschbeckens von unten lose hindurchgeführt, und zwar so, dass er den mittelst einer Handhabe pilzartig gestalteten Düschenkopf stets in lotrechter Lage zu halten sucht.
Zugleich hat diese Anordnung den Vor teil, dass der Schlauch in der Ruhelage un terhalb des Waschtisches nicht stört.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht ein 'Aus führungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes. ca ist das Waschtischbecken mit dem Ab lauf b. Über demselben befindet sich üblicher weise der Spiegel c. d ist eine seitlich am Becken a befindliche napfartige Vertiefung mit einer Bohrung e, die mit einem Gummi ring f abgedichtet ist. In diesem Ring f' ist der untere Teil eines pilzförmig gestalteten Duschenkopfes g, an dem sich unmittelbar der Metallschlauch i anschliesst, eingesetzt.
Zum Zwecke der Benutzung wird der pilz förmige Duschenkopf g aus dem Ring f herausgehoben und der Schlauch i durch die Bohrung e durchgezogen, worauf die Dusche benutzt werden kann. Nach abgeschlossener Arbeit wird der Metallschlauch i durch die Bohrung e zurückgeführt und der Duschen kopf g wieder in den Ring f eingesteckt, in welcher Lage er dann durch das Gewicht des wassergefüllten Schlauches i festgehalten wird. Nachtropfendes Wasser läuft durch die Rinne<I>h</I> in das Becken<I>a.</I>
