Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung  ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines vio  letten     Küpenfarbstoffes    der     2-Thionaphten-          2'-indölindigoreihe    der Formel:

    den man durch Kondensation von 5. 6.     7-          Trichlor    - 3 -     oxy    -1-     thionaphten    mit einer  reaktionsfähigen     5-Chlor-4.7-dimethylisatin-          a-verbindung    erhält.
