  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines violetten     Küpenfarbstoffes    der     2-Thionaphten-          2'-indolindigoreihe.       Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung  ist ein Verfahren zur Darstellung eines vio  letten     Küpenfa.rbstoffes    der     2-Thiona.phten-          2'-indolindigoreihe    der Formel:

    durch Kondensation von     5=Chlor-3-oxy-1-          thionaphten    mit einer reaktionsfähigen 4,5,     7-          Trimethylisatin-u-verbindung.     



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  19 Gewichtsteile     4,5,7-Trimethylisatin     werden in etwa 200 Gewichtsteilen Chlor  benzol suspendiert und nach Zusatz von 22  Gewichtsteilen     Phosphorpentachlorid    erhitzt.  Die entstandene     Lösung,des        4,5,7-Trimethyl-          isatin-a-chlorids    wird in     eine    Lösung von    <B>18,5</B>     Gewichtsteilen        5-Chlor-3-oxy-l-thio-          naphten    in 200 Gewichtsteilen Chlorbenzol  einlaufen     gelassen,    wobei sich der     Farbstoff     sofort abscheidet.

   Nach kurzem Erwärmen  auf 30 bis<B>90'</B> wird der Farbstoff filtriert,  mit Alkohol gewaschen     und    getrocknet. Der  getrocknete Farbstoff ist ein violett gefärb  tes Pulver, das in konzentrierter Schwefel  säure blaugrün löslich ist. Mit Natronlauge  und     Hydrosulfit    gibt er eine     gelbolive        Küpe,     aus der die Faser echt violett angefärbt wird.
