Description
Wänded a dichten axial, Wände 4r radial.
Gap sealing for rotors of steam and gas turbines. The present invention relates to a gap seal for rotors in steam and gas turbines. In accordance with the invention, the seal is made against at least one bendable wall. The game between the runner or the fixed part and the flexible wall. can be kept as small as possible by pushing the wall away in the event of a strip.
The accompanying drawing illustrates schematically several Ausführungsbei games of the subject invention.
In Fig. 1, a means an impeller and b a stator of a steam turbine. Between the stator b and the ring c a flexible wall d is clamped, which seals against the shroud e of the impeller a. Behind the wall d a cavity f is turned out. If there is a strip of cover tape e and wall d, the latter is bent into cavity f. The free length L of the wall d is greater towards the cavity f than the free length L 'towards the shroud e.
The thickness of the wall d and the free length L 'can be determined in such a way that, in the event of overpressure in the cavity, the wall d normally does not touch the deck building e.
Fig. 2 shows the same seal on a double-crowned impeller, the seal being made both on the outside between the stator and impeller and on the inside between the impeller and the following stator. In the latter case, the wall d is clamped between the impeller a and the ring c. The cavity f is turned out in the tread.
Fig. 3 shows flexible walls in radial and axial position, used in a labyrinth seal. The seal takes place against combs g of a rotating shaft f. Walls d a seal axially, walls 4r radially. The corresponding cavities are denoted by f a and fr. It could also be sealed only radially or only axially.
Fig. 4 shows an embodiment with two walls d on each crest. Fig. 5 shows a similar design as a seal of a stator h, against the impellers i and 1c.
Under certain circumstances it can be useful to choose unevenly thick sealing walls (l or walls d, which are unevenly thick.
