quartz lamp with portable tripod. The quartz lamps for therapeutic purposes known as "artificial sunlamps" have hitherto only been mobile to a limited extent, partly because of their size, but especially because the lamp is often used in different places. For example, the mercury distribution in the burner has been changed at each individual hospital bed and in different rooms, which has an adverse effect on the operation of the burner.
The subject of the invention is a quartz lamp with a portable tripod, that is to say with a t-inem on a table or the same usable tripod, in which special training ensures that a change in the mercury division does not occur when the lamp is moved from one place to another. To this end, it is essential to prevent the lamp from being worn in an oblique position.
In order to ensure a straight position of the lamp, the lamp according to the invention is provided with a carrying handle, which is attached above the stand, usefully as a connecting member between this and the carrying fork of the lamp housing and is arranged so that its center is perpendicular right above the center of gravity the whole, from stand and side lamp housing be standing device is.
The desired mutual position of the handle to the center of gravity can be achieved in two ways. You can distribute the weight in the tripod, expediently in the tripod base, asymmetrically, which can go so far that the overall focus comes to lie in the center line of the tripod; in this case the handle must be arranged symmetrically to the center line of the stand. But you can also design the tripod in the normal way and move the center of the handle on one side so far that it is arranged over the now eccentric center of gravity to the tripod. Under certain circumstances both means can be combined with one another.
In the drawing, two exemplary embodiments are shown in Fig. 1 and 2, of which a front view is shown in Fig. 3.
The lamp housing is carried by a table stand, which consists in a well-known manner on the stand base a., The series resistor b built into the stand, the casing e, and the stand rod d fixed in the base a be.
Between this stand rod d and the support arm of the lamp housing g, the handle e is now arranged, which in the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1 is attached in a symmetrical position at the upper end of the rod d. The stand base a is asymmetrical, so that the weight distribution is uneven.
This weight distribution is such that the additional weight of the stand foot attached to one side is balanced out with the weight of the quartz burner f, the reflector housing g and the carrying fork that accommodates the reflector so that the center of gravity S of the entire lamp is under the center of the handle, in this case So fall comes to lie in the center line of rod d.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the stand base ra is normal, that is, symmetrically formed with respect to the central axis. The handle, e is moved on one side so far that the center of gravity 8 of the entire lamp including the burner is located under the center of the handle. The advantage of this arrangement is that no material that is not absolutely necessary for weight compensation is required.
In both cases, the handle e is appropriately rotatably attached to the support arm. As a result, the lamp, when it is carried by the handle, hangs easily also perpendicularly in that plane which is perpendicular to the tilt axis of the burner.
