Description
Lighting device consisting of a gas burner. The invention relates to a lighting device consisting of a gas burner, in particular for central heating systems, and be in the fact that the ignition tube is net angeord in a channel-shaped body provided with passage openings for the ignition flames, which is intended to be turned with its open side facing downwards Grate to be pushed, the whole thing for the purpose of cooling the lighting device by means of the air flowing in particular from below to the ignition flames. and thereby protect against burning.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the drawing.
¯ Fig. 1 shows the same in application to a central heating boiler, the section. is drawn, and FIG. 2 is a cross section drawn on a larger scale along the line II-II of FIG.
a is an ignition tube connected to the gas line c by means of the hose b, designed as a Bunsen burner and provided with two rows of gas outlet openings d, which is pushed onto the grate g to light the central heating boiler e after opening the tap f and igniting the escaping gas .
The tube is arranged in a grooves-shaped body i provided with passage openings h for the pilot flames, which is turned down with its open side and rests on the grate. In this way, the entire lighting device is continuously cooled by means of the air flowing in particular from below to the ignition flames and consequently also protected from burns. Due to the channel-shaped design of the body i, combustion air is supplied to the ignition flames not only from below but also from the side where the device is introduced into the furnace.
The device is tapered at its front end, for the purpose of being able to insert it into the combustion chamber when the fire is already loaded with fuel. Primary air is sucked into the pipe a through the gas itself through the opening k in the manner customary with Bunsen burners. The passage openings in the channel-shaped body are dimensioned in such a way that, in addition to the combustion air required by the ignition flames themselves, they also allow more air to pass through, for the purpose of making it easier for the solid fuel to be ignited to burn.
