Description
Anordnung zur Kühlung von Gleichrichteranlagen. Bei Metallgleichrichtern muss das Gleich richtergefäss mit einer Flüssigkeitskühlung (gewöhnlich Wasser) versehen sein. Frisch wasserkühlung ist in den meisten Fällen nicht empfehlenswert, wegen den Kosten des Wassers, sodann wegen der Möglich keit, dass die Wasserzufuhr versagt, und schliesslich wegen der Kalkhaltigkeit des Wassers. Es kommt daher meistenfalls die Verwendung einer Rückkühlanlage in Frage.
Gemäss vorliegender Erfindung soll die Kühlanlage des Gleichrichters auch für die Kühlung des Transformators und allenfalls auch der Saugdrosselspule dienen. Dadurch lässt sich ohne wesentliche Mehrkosten die Transformatorleistung erheblich erhöhen.
Es sind zum Beispiel die folgenden zwei Ausführungsarten der Erfindung möglich: 1. Der Transformator erhält eine ein gebaute Kühlschlange und wird durch Wasser gekühlt, entweder in Reihe mit dem Gleichrichter oder parallel mit demselben. Die Flüssigkeit wird in einer gemeinsamen Rückkühlanlage gekühlt.
2. Der Gleichrichter wird mit Öl ge kühlt. Eine Rückkühlanlage wird vom Transformatoröl und Gleichrichteröl durch flossen. Hierdurch entsteht die Möglichkeit, einen normalen, luftgekühlten Transforma- tortyp zu verwenden, und es kann zum Bei spiel die Leistung einer solchen bestehenden Anlage ohne Änderung des Transformators erhöht werden.
Die Gemeinschaft der Kühlanlage für Gleichrichter und Transformator lässt sich auch bei kleineren .Gleichrichtertypen mit Luftkühlung anwenden, indem die Kühlluft für den Kolben gleichzeitig für die Kühlung des Transformators dient.

Fresh water cooling is not recommended in most cases, because of the cost of the water, then because of the possibility of the water supply failing, and finally because of the calcium content of the water. In most cases, therefore, the use of a recooling system comes into question.
According to the present invention, the cooling system of the rectifier should also serve to cool the transformer and possibly also the suction choke coil. As a result, the transformer output can be increased significantly without significant additional costs.
For example, the following two embodiments of the invention are possible: 1. The transformer has a built-in cooling coil and is cooled by water, either in series with the rectifier or in parallel with it. The liquid is cooled in a common recooling system.
2. The rectifier is cooled with oil. The transformer oil and rectifier oil flow through a recooling system. This makes it possible to use a normal, air-cooled transformer type and, for example, the output of such an existing system can be increased without changing the transformer.
The community of cooling systems for rectifiers and transformers can also be used for smaller rectifier types with air cooling, in that the cooling air for the piston is also used to cool the transformer.
