Apparatus for generating a cold or warm air flow by means of a wind turbine. The invention relates to an apparatus for generating a cold or warm air flow by means of a wind turbine, which can be used, for example, for drying damp hair or for other cosmetic or sanitary purposes.
Compared to already known, this purpose serving apparatus, in which the drive of the wind turbine used to generate an air stream is carried out by an electric motor, which makes the apparatus more expensive and not significantly weighed down by its weight, the subject of the invention differs in its light weight, a simple one Construction and a resulting cheap manufacturing. as well as sale possibility.
These advantages are to be achieved by the fact that the wind turbine can be set in rotation by means of a gear train by a push rod acting on it, under the action of a return spring and actuated by finger pressure, whereby it sucks in cold air and generates an air flow in the direction of the wheel axle.
In the drawing, an execution example of the subject invention is provided.
Fig. 1 is a front view and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same.
The axis b of a wind turbine c and a push rod e under the action of a return spring d are mounted in a frame a. This is designed as a toothed rack f on part of an edge lying in the frame a, which by means of a gear train g, h, i can act on the wind turbine axis b- .
The wind turbine c, as well as the part of the frame a behind it with the R5L gearbox g, h, i is from a grid current mel k , one end face of which is covered by a perforated plate 1 representing the rear wall of the appa, rates, while the other, in front of the wind turbine c Face a the wind turbine against contact respectively. Damage protective grid m, for example made of wire, has.
On the plate 1 , inside the drum, rest on supports n made of insulating material with heating wires o wrapped mica strips p.
The 1: lead wires are attached to an electrical cable q, which is guided through a handle r attached to the frame a and can be connected to an electrical power line by means of a plug contact.
At the protruding out of the frame a the end of the bumper e is one that pushes this into the frame easing plate s fastened.
en The wind wheel c is only operated by finger pressure by grasping the handle r with one hand and, pressing with your thumb on the plate s, executing a reciprocating movement.
During the outward movement, the push rod sets the gear train g, h, i in motion and through this the wind wheel c in rotation . The return movement of the push rod is effected by the return members d , which tension during the forward movement and relax during the return movement.
The axis t of the gears is g, </ so that the wind wheel c is not inhibited and stopped during this return movement, but remains in rotation under the effect of the forward movement until the next forward movement begins. B> left, in slots it, of the frame a mounted such that the bumper e. , when it is moved back by the return spring d, the gears g, h </ I> takes something along and disengages it from the gear wheel i.
As long as the wind turbine c is set in rotation by the push rod e, it sucks in cold air through the perforated plate 1 and hurls it out of the drum through the mesh m.
If, however, the heating wires o after the cable q has been connected to an electrical circuit, they are made to glow , then the cold air that is sucked in must sweep past these heating wires. It is heated up and the Windracl c now hurls warm air out of the drum.
