Description
Neues Farbstoffpräparat und Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung. Die symmetrischen 1,2- und 2,1-Naphth- thioindigos sind in der Literatur als braune Küpenfarbstoffe beschrieben. Näheres über diese Verbindungen, die bis anhin keine Han delsprodukte waren, ist nicht bekannt. Der 1,2-Napht-htliioindigo färbt ein Rotbraun, der 29,1-Na-phtlithioindigo ein gelberes Braun.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass, wenn man diese Verbindun-,eii untereinander mischt, und zwar entweder durch mechanisches Zumischen oder durch Oxydieren der Lösungen der be treffenden Leukoverbindungen oder der Ge mische der entsprechenden Oxythionaphthen- derivate, neue Produkte erhalten werden, die aus der Küpe die Faser in braunen Tönen färben, deren Ergiebigkeit und Lebhaftigkeit das, was aus, den Färbungen der einzelnen Komponenten zu erwarten war, ganz wesent- lieh überragen.
Die erzielte Wirkung ist be reits bemerkbar, -wenn weni-e Prozente des einen Fä.rbstoffes zum andern gegeben wer den.
Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist nun ein Farbstoffpr#Lparat, welches, aus einer mechanisch hergestellten Mischung von sym- metrischein 1,2-Naphthihioindigo mit symme trischem '-),1-Naphththioindigo besteht, sowie ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung. <I>Beispiel:</I> <B>30</B> Teile 1,2-Naphththioiiidigo werden mit <B>70</B> Teilen 2,1-Na.phththioindigo in einem<B>ge-</B> eigneten Apparat vermischt.
Das erhaltene Produkt färbt aus der Küpe, Baumwolle in rotbraunen Tönen, die den Tönen des reinen 1,2-Na.I)hththioindigos im Farbton ähnlich, jedoch ganz bedeutend reiner und voller sind.
Ähnliche Produkte werden erhalten, wenn man da.s Mischungsverhältnis nach der einen oder andern Seite verschiebt. Die Färbungen sind mit Hydrosulfit ätzbar.

No further details are known about these compounds, which were previously not commercial products. The 1,2-naphthi-htliioindigo colors a red-brown, the 29,1-Na-phtlithioindigo a more yellow brown.
It has now been found that if you mix these compounds, eii with each other, either by mechanical admixture or by oxidizing the solutions of the leuco compounds in question or the mixtures of the corresponding oxythionaphthenic derivatives, new products are obtained from the Vat dye the fiber in brown tones, the productivity and liveliness of which surpass what was to be expected from the coloration of the individual components.
The effect achieved is already noticeable when a few percent of one dye is added to the other.
The subject matter of the present patent is a dye preparation which consists of a mechanically produced mixture of symmetrical 1,2-naphthioindigo with symmetrical 1-naphthioindigo, as well as a process for its production. <I> Example: </I> <B> 30 </B> parts 1,2-naphththioiiidigo are mixed with <B> 70 </B> parts 2,1-Na.phththioindigo in a <B> ge - </ B> mixed with suitable apparatus.
The product obtained from the vat dyes cotton in red-brown tones, which are similar in color to the tones of the pure 1,2-Na.I) ththioindigo, but are considerably purer and fuller.
Similar products are obtained if one shifts the mixing ratio to one side or the other. The colorations can be etched with hydrosulfite.
