  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Säurefarbstoffes    der     Anthraehinonreihe.       Das im     schweiz.        Patent    Nr.     127439    be  schriebene     1-Amino-4-p-toluido-2-thiohydrin-          anthrachinon    geht unter Verwendung von  sauren Kondensationsmitteln unter gleich  zeitiger     Sulfierung    in einen grünen Säure  farbstoff über von vermutlich folgender  Konstitution:

    Hierbei tritt Ringbildung zum     Thiomorpho-          lin    und     Sulfierung    im     Toluidorest    gleich  zeitig ein.  



       Beispiel:   <I>.</I>  Man löst das     1-Amino-4-p-toluido-          anthrachinon-2-thiohydrin    in der fünf- bis    zehnfachen Menge 20     %igem        Oleum    und er  hitzt auf 80 bis 90  , bis Wasserlöslichkeit  eingetreten ist. Hierbei geht die anfangs  violette Lösungsfarbe in eine graublaue  über. Neben der     Sulfierung    ist offenbar  gleichzeitig     Ringschluss    eingetreten.  



  Der in üblicher Weise isolierte Farbstoff  färbt auf Wolle aus saurem Bade in grünen  Tönen.
