Die Primärwicklung b' b" b"' des Transformators A ist in Stern, diejenige <I>c' c" c"'</I> des Transformators<I>B</I> in Dreieck geschaltet.
Frequency converter for setting the power that flows through a line connecting two or more AC power plants (power slider). It is often desirable to be able to adjust the power that flows through a line connecting two or more AC power plants.
If, for example, a consumer of electrical work connects to a single or multi-phase alternating current network, which is fed by several power plants, he may, for commercial or technical reasons, wish to be able to determine for himself the proportions of N1 and N2 Power N. should be distributed among the power plants.
In Fig. 1, for example, the simple case is taken as a basis that two roughly the same size power plants <I> A </I> and <I> B </I>, in addition to other customers not shown, also supply customer C, which to a Connection line of the power plants is closed.
The diagram in Fig. 2 shows the loads on the two power plants for a given total load. The straight line falling to the right shows the characteristic - frequency vi, depending on the load N. & - of the power plant A, the straight line falling to the left shows the corresponding characteristic of the power plant B. In the latter, the power is plotted from right to left.
The distance between the vertical zero lines a and b is the instantaneous total load N of both power plants including the power N ". The point of intersection P supplies in a known manner the two loads 11'a and Nb of the two power plants, which are automatically influenced by the Adjust the engine regulator.
However, this also defines the proportions N, and N2 for which N, is supplied by both power plants, so that the desired distribution can only be achieved by one of the two power plants or both adjusting their controllers at the request of the customer.
In order to give the customer the opportunity to influence the distribution himself, a device can be made available which causes a certain controllable frequency difference between the two plants without the device itself having to consume or deliver noticeable energy. This is illustrated in Fig. 6, which corresponds to Fig. 2, with the difference that the two frequencies are now slightly different.
The power plant A works in the load case shown in Fig. 6 with a slightly higher frequency - operating point P of the characteristic - than power plant B operating point l @ of the characteristic -. As Fig. Ä shows, "the load on power plant A has now fallen compared to the natural load shown in Fig. 2 (N $ 'C Na), that of the other power plant has increased accordingly.
For the practical realization of this idea, you can, as is well known, the line leading to the power plant A to the stand that to the power plant. Connect the leading line to the rotor of an asynchronous machine or vice versa and slowly turn the rotor according to the frequency difference. This known device has two disadvantages. First, the runner has to be supplied with a mechanical power that is relatively small compared to the throughput power. taken from the.
Secondly, the throughput is transmitted between two windings, which are moved against each other and have to be embedded in slots, which leads to expensive constructions for higher outputs.
According to the invention. the desired goal is achieved while avoiding both disadvantages with a specially designed frequency converter, for example in the following way: One line is connected to three points of a fixed winding which is arranged on the legs of a multi-legged iron core and with a fixed one Commutator is connected.
A three-phase rotating brush set grinds on the gommutator, which is connected to the other line via slip rings. This arrangement acts in a known manner as a frequency converter, which transmits power from one network to the other without generating power itself or - apart from the losses - consuming it, and because of the small masses to be moved, it is also suitable for the Suitable for transferring very large services. The speed of the brushes corresponds to the frequency difference.
Fig. 4 shows such an embodiment example. Here the winding connected to the commutator is formed by a 12-phase polygon circuit, which by subdividing it into an arbitrarily multi-phase - in the example 24-phase - can be made with a large approximation.
According to Fig. 4, the 12-phase circuit comes about through electrical concatenation of two three-arm transformers <I> A </I> and <I> B connected primarily to a line a. The primary winding b 'b "b"' of transformer A is connected in star, that <I> c 'c "c"' </I> of transformer <I> B </I> in delta. The secondary windings <I> d 'd "d"' </I> and e 'e "e"' are combined to form a polygon circuit in the manner shown.
The taps 1 to 24 of the winding are to be thought of as being connected to the webs of the commutator f with the same number. The brushes <I> g'g "</I> g" 'grind on this, which are connected to the other line k via the slip rings lt.
The vector diagram of the voltages on the commutator is shown in Fig. 5.
The polyphase stress polygon can also be generated in other ways. For example, Fig. 6 shows the scheme of a 24-phase arrangement using the general zigzag connection of a transformer. The zigzag connection can also be used with two transformers. Fig. 7 also shows a 24-phase arrangement in which the solid lines represent the voltage vectors of one transformer and the dashed lines the vectors of the other.
Homologous voltages of both transformers are twisted against each other by 30, for example by the fact that the primary winding of one is connected in star, that of the other in delta.
Instead of the commutator, individual switches can also be used according to the invention; three single-pole or one three-pole single switches are then switched on. The total number of three-pole switches is the same as the number of phases. The one and Switching off takes place cyclically by means of a switching drum, the speed of which in turn corresponds to the frequency number.
