Drive system for induction meters. The main patent relates to a drive system for induction counters, which is based on the use of a three-legged current iron, a C-shaped voltage iron and an opposite pole arrangement to the latter, and in which the invention lies in the special design of the clamping iron.
The present additional invention concerns the use of a magnetic shunt on the current iron, which also forms the opposite pole arrangement, and according to the same the shunt iron is attached to the two outer pole legs of the current iron, while the middle pole leg, which carries the current coil, is free through an opening of the shunt iron protrudes.
The drawing shows an embodiment example and a detailed variant, only that which appears to be necessary for understanding the invention is shown.
Fig. 1 is a view of the embodiment, and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the current iron and partly a section along the line A-A of Fig. 1; Fig. 3 shows the detailed variant.
1 is the current iron, which has three legs 2, 3, 4 and on the middle leg 3, the current coil 5 sits. 6 is the C-shaped tension iron, which carries the tension coil 13 on its middle part. 15 is the drive pulley.
29 is a shunt iron which also forms the opposite pole arrangement of the tension iron and extends over all three legs of the current iron 1. This additional locking iron is attached with the interposition of non-magnetic washers 30 by means of very dust 31 on the front edges of the legs 2, 4 of the. The screws 31 protrude through, from the end face of the egg handles 2, 4, into these guided slots 32 and 'are screwed into blades 33 which are inserted into transverse slots of the iron legs 2, 4.
The middle pole leg 3 of FIG. 1 is longer than the two outer legs 2, 4 and Tagt through an opening 34 in the shunt iron 29, which opening is so large that the shunt iron does not come into contact with this pole leg and in this way a magnetic connection between the shunt iron and the current iron is avoided.
The tabs 33 could be wedge-shaped and upset at their narrow end, so that they act like rivets and hold the slats of the current iron together.
The metal parts used for screwing in the visual screws 31 and provided in the pole legs 2, 4 could also be other than tab shapes, so these parts could be bolts that are compressed at both ends and in which the holes for the screws 31 would be provided.
According to the detailed variant (FIG. 3) (the outer part of the legs 2, 4 is provided with an extension 34, between which extensions the shunt iron is fitted. As a result, the shunt iron is iron against shifting in two opposite directions on the stream so that the air gap 34 is secured in advance in these directions.
The arrangement according to the invention has the advantage that the leg el of the current iron carrying the current coil is not used to fasten the shunt iron, so that it can lead lines of force in its entire cross-section and thereby the good electrical properties that the invention by the Main patent to basic loving iron shape results, not be impaired.
