W ebstuhl.
Loom. In mechanical looms, the reciprocating movement of the shooters is usually achieved with striking devices that are actuated by the loom itself by eccentrics or cranks. These Schlagvor directions work very easily and safely, but have the disadvantage that they are dependent in their impact strength on the speed with which the loom is driven.
In particular, at low speed of the loom it is no longer possible to achieve the actually required beating force, and it is therefore not possible to start the loom slowly when using these beating devices. shut down, but. special arrangements must be made in order to bring about a rapid acceleration and a sudden stop of the loom.
Per se, impact devices are also known that are independent of the speed in their impact strength. For example, it has been proposed to operate the Schlagvor direction by means of a spring. The beat then takes place, in fact, regardless of the speed with the same strength, and it can, in this way, if necessary, also work with any low speed of the loom who the. In practice, this beater could not introduce devices because they have too great an inertia and consequently are not suitable for operating the loom at higher speeds, as is desirable in the interests of economy.
In the patent no. 123140 is now seen before, the advantages of using such contactor actuators zen exploit, which are driven by means of a moving part, such as - this BEZW with the crank. Eccentric hammering devices is the case, but at the same time to enable proper work at different weaving speeds, for example even at low loom speeds. In the loom according to the present invention this problem is technically solved in a different way.
In this loom, in addition to the shuttle actuation device that is available for the normal speeds, depending on the respective speed of the loom working, there is also another shuttle actuation device that can be used at different speeds. For example, in addition to serving for the normal, higher speeds, in their impact strength of the speed dependent Schlagvor direction for the, smaller speeds a in their, impact strength of the speed un-dependent impact device used.
How this can be achieved in detail will be explained in the following by setting out an exemplary embodiment: with reference to the drawing.
There is a the drive shaft of the beater, b a sitting on this, intended for the shuttle drive at normal loom speed and c a cam attached to the same shaft. Against <B> '</B> the latter is placed under the action of a spring d by means of a roller e of the lever f. This lever therefore makes a back and forth movement when the shaft rotates by the.
Fe dere d is initially tensioned by the cam disc c and then suddenly experiences tension. It interacts via a fork g with the impact roller h, which is itself arranged on a pin seated on the shaft of the impact arm i, see above. that when the fork g hits the shaft of the impact arm i rotated and the impact arm of the impact device is actuated. This impact roller h is also in the area of the eccentric b and can also be adjusted by this during its rotation.
The lever <I> f </I> can be locked by means of a pawl <I> k </I> and thus put out of action. The pawl k itself is in engagement with a rod <I> 1 </I> which with the adjusting lever <I> m </I> of the starter or. Control apparatus n is coupled and thus influences the setting of the pawl k according to the setting of the lever m. In addition, the conditions are chosen so that when the lever f is working, the fork g strikes the impact roller h at the latest with the fixed center b together.
The eccentric itself can be adjustable in a well-known manner to adapt to different loom speeds.
When the loom is started, the beating device will first assume the position illustrated in FIG. 1. The pawl k is lifted and the shooter blow takes place under the action of the spring hammer device, while the eccentric to a certain extent only runs idle.
If the speed is increased by adjusting the lever m, the rod l releases the pawl k, which then, according to FIG. 2, under the effect of its weight behind a cam attached to the lever f, and thus the spring hammer locks. In this case, the shooter is simply hit by the Elxzenter b.
To stop the loom, on the other hand, by resetting the lever m, the pawl k is lifted out again by means of the rod 1 as soon as the speed setting on the starting device falls below a certain value, and the spring impact device is thus activated again. - The lever f must: also then in:
the blocking position can be held when the loom, as is required, for example, to eliminate poor eye threads, is operated with the normal working direction of movement ent opposite direction of movement, that is, runs backwards, cla he when 'in-lying against the cam disc c, as shown in Fig . 1 shows without further ado,
would hinder the return movement. The transfer of the lever f into the locked position is '' there, - brought about by the linkage used for this purpose, depending on the switching of the drive motor to the other direction of rotation.
Of course, for the shuttle's reciprocating motion, the loom must have two of the kind 'striking devices:
exhibit. The loom can then be operated at a speed deviating from its normal speed, ie in particular also slowly started BEZW. be stopped slowly, which makes it possible to avoid the mechanical stresses of the loom itself and the work material caused by a rapid start-up and sudden stop and also to make the drive motor much smaller by eliminating the load peak that otherwise occurs when starting up .
This is achieved with extremely simple means, which, if necessary, also allow existing looms to be changed accordingly.
