Installation on a filling and measuring device for liquids, with double measuring vessels and for two different liquids, in order to display each liquid in a special counter. Filling and measuring devices for liquids with a double measuring vessel are known. They have a switchover valve, the setting of which connects one measuring vessel to the supply line from the storage container and the other to the tapping line.
A counter is usually connected to this switchover valve, which is switched each time it is switched so that the filling of a measuring vessel in the counter is added, whether by switching a pointer or counting wheels or both at the same time.
Today the need arose to be able to draw off two different> liquids, for example petrol and benzene, at the same place and to be able to use the same measuring device for this purpose.
For this purpose, each of the storage tanks with the two liquids has been provided with a pump line and the pressure lines of the two pumps have been connected to a second switchover valve, which was connected to the switchover valve of the two measuring vessels, so that, depending on the position of the second switchover valve, one of the measuring vessels is connected to one or the other storage container via the switchover valve. It then shows .the counter on the switchover valve of the measuring vessels the sum of the amount of liquid tapped together from both storage containers.
Was required that the tapped liquid of each liquid be separated. displayed, two counters were arranged, both of which could be coupled with the switchover tap on the measuring vessels. Depending on whether one or the other storage container was connected to the measuring vessels, the associated counter always had to be engaged and the other disengaged. However, if the settings were not made correctly, the information on the two counters would of course also be incorrect, so that the same could not be definitely relied on.
The present invention now has the purpose of achieving that the tapped amount of each of the two liquids is displayed in a special counter and that the incorrect counter is not operated. This is achieved in that a switching device is provided through which each counter can be switched on and off and when one counter is switched on, the other is switched off.
This switchover device is connected to the spigot of the tap that switches the pump lines in such a way that the connection of each of the two storage containers to the measuring vessels corresponds to the switching of one of the two counters.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. It shows: FIG. 1 the two switchover valves of the device in cross section, FIG. 2 the same in longitudinal section, FIG. 3 the front view of the device, while FIG. 4 schematically shows a filling and measuring system with the device for illustrative purposes representing circuits; FIG. 5 shows the cross section V -V in FIG. 2.
In Fig. 4 I and II are the two storage containers, and a and b are the two measuring vessels. A suction line s leads from each storage container to a pump p. The pressure lines of both pumps are connected to a switch valve 2.
The two measuring vessels <I> a </I> and <I> b </I> are connected to one another at the top by an air transfer line l, which is closed off from the filled measuring vessel by a float valve so that no Liquid can spill from one vessel into the other.
In addition, an overflow line 2s branches off at the top of each vessel, in which there is a valve that is under spring pressure so that it is closed until the vessel is filled with liquid and then only opens when the A certain small excess pressure is created in the vessel. The two overflow lines 2c unite. At the bottom, the two measuring vessels are each connected to a switchover path I by a filling and emptying line fe.
This tap 1 is in connection with the tap 2, and furthermore the discharge line z branches off from it. The spigot of the tap 1 can be rotated in one direction by means of the switching lever h, and the switching movement of the lever h is limited in such a way that the spigot is rotated by 90 at most for each. If after a circuit, as shown in FIG. 1, the chicken is set so that the vessel a is connected via the tap 2 to one of the pressure lines d, the other vessel b is connected to the dispensing line z.
The chuck axis of the cock 2 is inevitably connected to the axis c of a handle lever i by toothed segments g of the same radius. If the lever i is swung back and forth by <B> 90 '</B>, the peg of the tap 2 also rotates back and forth by 90, with the rotational movement of the poppet being expediently controlled by a cam iz, which is connected to cams strikes in the valve body is limited.
In one end position of the peg, the cock 2, as shown in FIG. 1, connects the pressure line d to the storage container I belonging to the pump p, and in the other end position the pressure line d of the pump p belonging to the storage container II via the cock 1 with one of the measuring vessels a or b.
So if liquid is to be measured from one of the storage containers I or II, the lever i is adjusted accordingly, then by means of the corresponding pump p, after the respective switching of the plug of the tap 1 by means of the lever h., One alternates Vessel filled and the other vessel emptied.
The devices described so far are known per se.
- I7m now displayed in a safe way, what amount of liquid has been tapped from your container I and what amount from the loading container II, the following device is provided: On -the common housing of the two taps 1 and 2 is a forward round housing 3 grown, the removable end wall 4 forms a blue number.
The axle 5 is mounted centrally in this housing. On this axis, the gear wheel 6 sits firmly, the coupling half 7 axially displaceable ver by means of tongue and groove and you: other coupling half 8 loosely and axially not displaceable. This coupling half 8 carries a pointer 9 which moves over the scale of the smooth number 4. A spiral spring '10 is attached at one end to the coupling half B. on the other on the end wall 4. The coupling half 7 is sought to hold a grip by a spring 11 with half 8, but it can be disengaged from the outside by pressing the button 12 of a pin which can be pushed in the axis 5 and which is connected to the coupling half 7 by a split pin connected is.
In addition, a cam track 13, which is fixed on a cross member in the housing 3, surrounds the coupling half 7. On this cam track, when the axis 5 rotates, a pin 14 slides on the coupling half 7, and a nose of the cam track is arranged so that the coupling half 7 is disengaged, un indirectly before half 7 has made a full turn with the pointer 9, and the pin 14 is free from the nose as soon as half 7 has made the full turn, so that the spring 11 then engages the clutch again .
The cock axis of the cock 1, on which the shift lever h can be rotated, -is connected by a gear mechanism 15 to the axis 5 so that with each switching through the lever la the pointer 9 on the scale of the Zif fernglattes 4 by one division, So from one number to the next, it is switched on .. The partial points of the scale are designated according to the filling of a measuring vessel. In the example shown, it is assumed that the filling is 5 liters, so that the sub-points of the scale are labeled with the numbers from 5 to 5.
In the housing 3, two counters 17 and 18 are also arranged, the protruding drive axes on are in a straight line and butt against each other. On the protruding parts of the drive axles of the two counting works, a gear 19 is displaceable, which has an annular groove. The gear 19 is rotatably mounted in the housing 3 gear roller 20 and this again with a gear 21 in engagement, the axis of which is connected to the axis 22 by a bevel gear, on which a gear 23 is stuck with the gear 6 in Intervention represents. Each face of the hub of the wheel <B> 1.9 </B> forms half of a tooth coupling and the opposite half sits on each of the drive shafts of the two counters.
In the annular groove of the Ra of 19 engages a switching arm 24, which is firmly connected to the axis c, so that when the lever i vibrates, the wheel 19 is shifted on the drive axles of the counters.
In one end position of the lever i, the gear 19 is coupled to the counter 17, in the other end position to the counter 18.
It is described above that in one end position of the lever i the storage container I, in the other the storage container 1I is connected to the measuring vessels, so according to the above, each of these connections corresponds to the connection of one of the two counters 17, 18 to the switching mechanism of the chuck of the tap 1. One of the counters 17, 18 therefore necessarily shows the amount of liquid drawn off from one and the other that from the other of the two storage containers I, II. at.
The pointer 9 shows the amount of liquid dispensed for each individual tap, both when tipping from I and when drawing from 1I. Through the circuit; of the pointer 9, the spiral spring 10 is tensioned. If a tap is completed, for example when 20 liters have been poured out in the example shown, the pointer 9 thus points to partial point 20, then the button 12 is pressed so that the clutch 7-8 is disengaged. The tensioned spring 10 comes into effect and rotates the pointer 9 back to the zero point.
With one full rotation of the pointer 9, for example when 50 liters have been tapped, the coupling 17, 18 is released automatically by the pin 14 running on the cam track 13 and then also engages itself actively after the pointer 9 is returned to zero.
In the case of the filling and measuring apparatus shown, the measuring vessels a and b, as described, have overflow lines u at the top, which unite. In order to ensure that the overflowing liquid is also returned to the correct storage container, the following device is provided: The common line zc is connected to the tap 2 (see FIGS. 4 and 5).
from which two return lines r branch off, one of which opens into container I, the other into container II, and the stopcock has two passages, one of which connects the line za with the connection of one of the Lines r connect, depending on the position of lever i, i.e. the cock of valve 2.
If the tap 2, as shown in FIG. 1, connects the container I with one of the measuring vessels a or b, it also connects, as FIG. 5 shows, the overflow line u with the container I, and when it (in FIG. 1 and 5) is turned clockwise by 90, it connects the container II with a measuring vessel and with the overflow line -u,
It therefore connects the overflow line u with that return line r which leads to the storage container, the pump line d of which is connected through it via the tap 1 to one of the measuring vessels.
The illustrated embodiment of the device according to the present invention also has the significant advantage that after switching from one storage container to the other, from the liquid from the disconnected container that is still in the lines of the apparatus, no more the new liquid that has now been pumped into the measuring vessels must first be displaced. The first filling is therefore not a mixture of the two liquids, as is the case with the previous devices described above.
This is achieved in that the two chicks of the taps 1 and 2 are in a common housing close to each other, only separated from each other by a housing partition that is as weak as possible.
Before the tap 2 is switched over, both measuring vessels are emptied so that there is no longer any liquid in the apparatus away from the tap 1 and against the measuring vessels. Since the neck of the tap 2 is now very close to the neck of the tap 1, the former cuts off the connection of the measuring vessels with the switched-off container immediately at the border of the empty part when it is turned.
