Wie aus :den Fig. 1 und 2 ersichtlich ist, bewegen sich die Angriffspunkte der Feder 6 beim Ausschwingen :der Hebel 1, 2 zwischen die Hebeldrehpunkte. Dabei verringern sich die Abstände n (Fig. 1) gleichmässig (bis auf Null im Grenzfall), sobald sich die Hebel 1, 2 unter Einwirkung der Zentrifugalkraft nach aussen bewegen, bezw. die Abstände ver grössern sich gleichmässig bei der Gegenbe wegung, welche durch Nachlassender Zentri fugalkraft eintritt, und zwar erfolgen beide Bewegungen, einmal ausgelöst, momentan;
Centrifugal starter for electric motors. The invention relates to a centrifugal water for electric motors, in which at least one switching device short-circuits starting resistors under the influence of the flick force and against the effect of a counterforce.
It is well known that a starting device of this type is also required, among other things, that with decreasing centrifugal force (drop in engine speed), the reverse movement of the contact piece (switching off the contact device or switching on starting resistors) takes place at a lower speed than closing of contacts. This can be achieved to a large extent if .the switching device according to the present invention is directed.
In the drawing, Ausführungsbei are playing the new switching device cal cally. 1 to 3 be the one example ', namely, FIGS. 1 and 2 are front views with aus- respectively. device switched on; FIG. 3 shows a plan view of FIG. 2.
1 and 2 are. two symmetrically arranged levers crossing each other, the pivot points of which lie on screw bolts 3. The latter are screwed into the starter housing 4, which is firmly seated on the motor shaft and also serve to hold a bearing block 12. The facing ends of the levers 1, 2 are never bent towards the motor shaft and braced against each other by a spring 6. The distances a (Fig. 1) of the two attachment points of the spring -6 from the lever pivot points (3) are the same. Between the two crossing lever arms, a rectangular pin 7 is inserted with play, which carries a circular., Flat contact piece 8 Kon.
The latter can be lifted from the pin 7 after loosening the split pin 10 and rotated by 180 or turned so that new points of the contact piece 8 can be compared to the contact buttons 9 of the starting resistors (not shown) when using its contact points. The movable part of the switch, together with the bearing block 12, can easily be removed from the starter housing 4 after loosening the screws 3.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1 and 2, the points of application of the spring 6 move when they swing out: the lever 1, 2 between the lever pivot points. The distances n (Fig. 1) decrease evenly (down to zero in the borderline case) as soon as the levers 1, 2 move outward under the action of centrifugal force, respectively. the distances increase evenly in the case of the opposite movement, which occurs due to the decrease in centrifugal force, and both movements take place, once triggered, momentarily;
furthermore, the speed difference between the outward and inward jumping of the switch elements is large. By inserting washers under the contact piece 8 or by choosing the thickness of the latter, you can change the stand between the contact parts 8 and 9, which occurs when the motor is at rest, thereby changing the distances a (Fig. 1) when moving outwards, of the contact piece 8 reduce more or less towards zero.
In this way, the speed difference between the outward and inward jumping of the switching elements can be adjusted as desired. In order to ensure the maximum overload capacity of the engine, this difference will be chosen as large as possible. By attaching counterweights 11 (Fig. 1) to the free ends of the levers 1, 2 and by selecting the spring 6 accordingly, it is also possible to set the operation of the switching device to any speed.
The overload capacity of a three-phase motor should be explained using an example using the diagram shown in FIG.
On the diagram: J1 = normal load current; Md, = normal torque; J = current curve in the event of overload; Md = torque curve in the event of overload; A = point at which the last contact of the starter opens again when the engine speed drops, ie there is a starter resistor.
The diagram shows that the motor can easily be overloaded up to the maximum torque, whereby the speed drops about 25 ö below: the synchronous one. At even higher loads, the engine speed decreases. Zero off. Only at around 50% of the synchronous speed is the starting resistor connected upstream again.
The current J continues to rise up to this point and. therefore triggers a maximum current switch more reliably than if it died down earlier. The current J is z. B. at maximum torque 315 / o of the normal current J ,, when tripping, but the last contact 420 ö, so 3: 3 0, 'ö more.
The second embodiment (Fig. 4-) shows two levers la and 2a which do not cross, but lie behind one another with a compression spring 6a connected in between. The operation of this switching device is the same as in the case of the first described game.
Instead of the contact stamp 7, 8 shown, a different contact device can of course also be selected without thereby changing the principle of operation of the switching device.
