Frame with sliding panels for plans. We already know frames for hanging up plans, for example railway plans and the like, which have boards that can be slid up and down. Most of the time, these panels, like the frames, were made entirely of wood, which has various disadvantages. At first the wooden panels had to be made thick and therefore heavy. Then, as a result of swelling, their wooden edges could easily become jammed in their wooden guides, so that it was difficult to move the panels up and down. In addition, due to the thickness of their wooden panels, the entire frames became very space-blocking.
The object of the present invention is intended to remedy these disadvantages, in which the panels have stiffeners made of metal at the edges. The panels can be made entirely of sheet metal and bent over to form tubular stiffeners at the top and bottom, making them light and easy to guide. The panels could, however, each sit a middle part made of thin plywood be, which has a sheet edge all around the edge of the middle part with comprehensive. This also makes the boards lighter than before and makes the guidance more reliable. Above and below stiffeners in the tubular sheet metal plugs can be arranged, which carry spherical guide heads, whereby an easy and good guidance is achieved.
Appropriately, the panels then hang with the lower guide heads on flexible pulling members which go loosely through the upper guides.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in exemplary embodiments, and shows: Fig. 1 a front view of a frame, Fig. 2 on a larger scale a ver tical section of part of the same, Fig. 3 a longitudinal section through part of the frame, Fig 4, 5 and 6 variants in horizontal section, and FIG. 7 shows a horizontal section along the line AB in FIG.
