Description

  

      Einrichtung    zum Verhindern der Überladung     elelitriseher        Akkumulatoren.       Bekannter Weise soll die Ladung eines  elektrischen Akkumulators beendigt werden,  wenn die Gasentwicklung an den Platten be  ginnt. Zu diesem Zwecke wird gemäss vorlie  gender Erfindung eine besondere Einrichtung  vorgesehen, von der .die beiliegende Zeich  nung ein     Ausführungsbeispiel    schematisch  zeigt.  



  Die gezeichnete Einrichtung besitzt ein  Rohr 1, das mit dem einen Ende in die Flüs  sigkeit 2 des Akkumulators eintaucht. Oben  ist das Rohr 1 mit einem U-förmigen Rohr  stück, das zum Teil mit Quecksilber 3 ge  füllt ist,     verbunden.    Zwei elektrische Kon  takte 4 tauchen normalerweise in das Queck  silber ein. Wird mittelst des Kautschukbal  lons 5, der an einer Verzweigung des Rohres  1 angesetzt ist, die Flüssigkeit 2 des Akku  mulators im Rohr 1 hochgesaugt, so entsteht  ein Unterdruck im Rohr 1, was bewirkt, dass  die     Kontakte    4 das Quecksilber nicht mehr  berühren. Dringen bei beendigter Ladung  Gasblasen 6 aus dem Akkumulator in das  Rohr 1, so sinkt infolgedessen die Flüssig  keitssäule, und der Unterdruck im Rohr 1    verschwindet.

   Hierdurch geht das Quecksil  ber 3 wieder zurück und schliesst die Kon  takte 4, wodurch zum Beispiel ein Signal be  tätigt oder ein Schalter im Ladestromkreis  ausgelöst werden kann.

   As a result, the mercury goes back over 3 and closes the contacts 4, whereby, for example, a signal can be activated or a switch in the charging circuit can be triggered.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Linrichtung zum Verhindern der Über ladung elektrischer Akkumulatoren, dadurch gekennzeichnet, .dass die bei beendigter La dung aufsteigenden Gasblasen in ein in die Flüssigkeit,des Akkumulators eintauchendes und mit dieser Flüssigkeit vollgesaugtes Rohr eindringen und dadurch eine Höhenänderung in der Flüssigkeitssäule bewirken, die für das Schliessen eines elektrischen Kontaktes ver wendet wird'.
