Verfahren zum Anbringen von Aufschriften auf Metalltuben. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfah ren zum Anbringen von Aufschriften auf Metalltuben.
Apotheker, Drogisten und andere Gre- sehäfte beziehen vielfach vom Fabrikanten verkaufsfertige, in Metalltuben gefüllte phar mazeutische und kosmetische Präparate. Die Tuben sind den heutigen Anforderungen ent sprechend meist mit lackiertem mehrfarbigem Aufdruck versehen, der sich auf den Inhalt der Tube bezieht, Gebrauchsanweisungen ent hält usw.
Die Bezieher dieser Tuben legen nun Wert darauf, dass dieselben mit ihrem Na men beziehungsweise mit demselben ihrer Firma versehen werden.
Wenn es sich in allen Fällen darum han deln würde, dass die Lieferung vom Fabri kanten zum Apotheker oder Drogisten aus einer erheblichen Stückzahl, mindestens etwa 3000 Stück bestehen würde, so hätte man nur nötig, den Namen oder die Firma des Bestellers in einen Arbeitsgang beim Auf- drucken der Lackierung der Tube in der gleichen Weise, wie diese, anzubringen.
Es werden aber in der Mehrzahl der Fälle weit weniger Stück an den einzelnen Abneh mer abgesetzt.
Man hat sich bisher entweder dadurch geholfen, dass man Papieretiketten bedruckt und auf die nackte unlackierte Metalltube geklebt hat. Dieses Verfahren hat den Nach teil, dass die Papieretiketten durch den meist fettigen Inhalt der Tube fleckig werden und den Ansprüchen an elegantes Aussehen nicht genügen.
Ein anderes Verfahren besteht darin, dass man einfarbig lackierte Tuben mittelst einer maschinellen Einrichtung unter Verwendung von Gummistempeln unmittelbar bedruckt.
Die Nachteile dieses Verfahrens bestehen in den Anschaffungskosten der maschinellen Einrichtung, der Notwendigkeit, für jeden Besteller einen besondern Gummistempel an fertigen zu müssen und in den unvermeid lichen und verhältnismässig hohen Verlusten an Tuben infolge Misslingen des Druckes. Nach der Erfindung wird die Aufgabe in der Weise gelöst, dass die gewünschte Auf schrift auf einen Streifen aus durchsichtigem, in Wasser unlöslichem Material, zum Beispiel aus papierdünner gehärteter Gelatine aufge druckt wird. Dieser Streifen wird auf die Tube geklebt.
Die Kleberänder können durch starke Linien des Tubenaufdruckes begrenzt, gewissermassen unterstrichen und dadurch weniger gut sichtbar gemacht werden. Man wird zweckmässig als Stelle zum Anbringen des Streifens das obere Tubenende wählen und den Streifen ringsherum laufen lassen. Das bietet den Vorteil, dass die Aufschrift bis zuletzt, das heisst bis zum vollständi gen Aufbrauchen des Tubeninhaltes sichtbar bleibt.
Das neue Verfahren ermöglicht es, eine beliebig kleine Anzahl von Tuben in mehr farbiger eleganter Lackausführung mit der Firma des Käufers nach Massgabe der ein laufenden Aufträge zu versehen, wobei die urbeklebten Tuben in beliebig grosser 11lenge vorrätig gehalten werden können.
Die nachträgliche Anbringung des Firmen namens fällt, wenn nach dem beschriebenen Verfahren ausgefübrt, kaum auf, obwohl die Aufschrift auf den durchsichtigen Streifen mit Hilfe des gewöhnlichen Buchdruckver fahrens mit einer einfachen Handdruckpresse hergestellt wird.
Zur Veranschaulichung der Erfindung dient die Zeichnung, welche in Fig. 1 und 2 eine Tube vor Anbringung des Firnrenauf- druckes vor) zwei Seiten gesehen zeigt, wäh rend Abb. 3 und 4 die Tube nach Anbrin- gung des mit der Firma bedruckten durch sichtigen Streifens darstellt ; Abb. 5 zeigt den Streifen allein.

According to the invention, the object is achieved in such a way that the desired inscription is printed on a strip of transparent, water-insoluble material, for example of paper-thin hardened gelatin. This strip is glued to the tube.
The adhesive edges can be limited by strong lines of the tube print, underlined to a certain extent and thus made less visible. It is expedient to choose the upper end of the tube as the place for attaching the strip and let the strip run around. This offers the advantage that the label remains visible until the end, i.e. until the tube contents have been completely used up.
The new process makes it possible to provide an arbitrarily small number of tubes in a multi-colored, elegant lacquer finish with the buyer's company in accordance with the current orders, with the originally glued tubes being kept in stock in any size.
The subsequent affixing of the company name is hardly noticeable if carried out according to the method described, although the inscription on the transparent strip is produced using the usual Buchdruckver process with a simple hand printing press.
