Support member for electrical waveguides and device for its production. It has already been proposed to manufacture hollow conductors for conducting the electrical current in such a way that the conductors are stranded on a coiled carrier with a flat cross-sectional shape. If, for example, a flat metal band is used as such a carrier, it cannot be twisted in any tight turns, because the material undergoes a very strong expansion at the two edges compared to the center of the band. However, if a metal belt is thin, it cannot cope with such stress.
On the other hand, however, it is desirable to provide the carrier with the shortest possible windings so that the conductors on it are supported in many places.
The invention relates to a support organ for electrical waveguides, which consists of a flat corrugated metal strip.
The further subject matter of the invention is a method for producing the support element, according to which the flat belt is carried by a supply roll fastened in a rotatable yoke through toothed wheels fastened in the same yoke serving to wave the belt and by arranged outside the yoke Recesses provided fixed pairs of rollers is guided.
In the drawings embodiment examples of the invention are shown. Fig. 1 shows a hollow cable with the support member 1 made of corrugated flat metal tape, over which the lead wires 2 are stranded.
The higher the waves of the tape, the shorter the turns can be. Compared to a twisted support made of flat metal tape, turns that are around half shorter can easily be achieved. The corrugation of the band has the advantage that the carrier diametrically has a high section modulus, that is, it cannot be compressed. The two longitudinal edges of the girder can stretch in relation to the center of the tape when winding, so they are protected against excessive tensile stress.
The support member has a high tensile strength in the longitudinal direction, since it extends essentially in the longitudinal direction of the conductor and consequently no deformation of the Trä gers occurs due to a train, but a pure material load. This circumstance also guarantees the caliber of the supporting element by maintaining the original diameter even under considerable tensile stress, so that the lead wires do not lose their support at any point and the round shape of the conductor is preserved.
In Fig. 2, a support member made of flat corrugated tape is shown, in whose sections a wire screw 3 is inserted, (to create even more position points for the line wires. This wire screw can have the same slope as the screw conveyor, but it can also It is also irrelevant whether it has a twist that is the same or opposite to that of the belt screw. You can also distribute the stresses completely separately between the belt screw and the wire screw by making the belt screw with a smaller outer diameter than the wire screw.
In this case, the wire screw will absorb the entire radial pressure, for which it is very well suited due to the stiffening by the screw conveyor and the protection against overturning of the individual threads achieved at the same time, while the. Belt screw, which has a high tensile strength, is mainly used to absorb the tensile stress occurring in the manufacture of the Hohllei age and to support the wire screw against tilting.
The wire screw can be made of any profiled wire, for example from round wire, T-shaped, U-shaped and wedge-shaped profile wire. In the case of T-shaped and wedge-shaped profile wire, it is advantageous if the flat edge of the wire is on the outside, while in the case of U-shaped profile wire, the two legs expediently come outward so that the rainwater does not get in the wire screw holds together.
If the belt screw is used to absorb the radial jerk, it is advantageous to bend the edges of the belt so that the lead wires have a wider contact surface on the edge of the screw.
Fig. 3 shows a waveguide in cross-section with the corrugated metal band 1, the wire screw 3, and the lead wires 2. The edges of the screw conveyor are here bent to give the lead wires a larger support surface.
4 and 5 a Vorrich device for producing the support member is Darge provides. The rotatably mounted yoke 11, which is rotated by the gear wheel 12, carries the supply roll 13 for the smooth band 14. This passes from the supply roll to the gear wheels 15, 16, which are also mounted in the yoke through the it is curled. The corrugated tape is then carried out between the pairs of rollers 17, 18 and 19, 20, one of which is horizontally, the other vertically ge superimposed so that they prevent the belt from rotating.
So it is rotated between the rotating gears and the stationary rollers and then enters ent neither on a supply drum 21 or it can also be performed immediately in the stranding machine.
