Condenser and evaporator group in chillers. The subject of the invention bil Dende condenser and evaporator group in refrigeration machines, in which the evaporator fer serves as a brine cooler, allows a simple design with a low height.
For this purpose, the evaporator is arranged in a ring around the condenser and, for the same purpose, the liquid refrigerant is transferred from a control chamber of the condenser directly into the evaporator through a jet nozzle through which the liquid from a liquid separator is also transferred into the evaporator is carried away.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in vertical section.
It is 1 the condenser with the regulator chamber 2 inside the condenser. The housing of the evaporator 3 is arranged in a ring around the condenser; 4 is the liquid separator arranged at the same height as the evaporator. The parts of the group arranged at the same height enable short and direct connections and connections. The brine is fed to the evaporator through the nozzle 5 and it leaves it cooled at 6 in order to get to the cooling bodies.
The evaporator is equipped with helically wound tubes 7, 8 which are connected to one another at their lower and upper ends. The pipe snakes are connected to each other and to the housing wall by ribs 9, which creates a ver running after a helical channel 10 for the brine. The control chamber 2 is connected to the Rohrschlan gene 7 and 8 by a nozzle 11 which, depending on the state or the inflow of the liquefied refrigerant, can be opened more or less by a float regulator or closed when the machine is switched off.
The nozzle acts as a jet nozzle and drives the liquid under pressure into the evaporator. A pipe 12 of the liquid separator 4 also opens into this nozzle. The cooling water for the condenser is supplied through the pipe 13 in countercurrent to the refrigerant.
The way the group works is, for example, the following: The refrigerant liquefied in the condenser 1 arrives at 14 in the control chamber 2 and from here through the jet nozzle 11 directly into the evaporator, the coils of which it flows through on a long way. Since the filling of the evaporator is so strong that the pipe coils are still wetted with liquid up to their upper end, with the evaporated refrigerant, some refrigerant in liquid form also escapes from the pipe coils into the liquid separator d.
The liquid separated in the same is now sucked off again through the connection 12 with the jet nozzle 11 and pushed back into the evaporator. This makes it possible to place the separator so deep that the height is not increased and the overall system is low.
The brine; which flows through the helical channel between the evaporator tubes at high speed, comes into close contact with the evaporator tubes over a long distance, and this, as well as the heavy filling of the evaporator, achieves a high degree of efficiency of the system.
Instead of two pipe coils with ribs in the evaporator, two or more pipe coils can also be arranged which, without fins, lie directly against one another and on the walls, these pipes not needing to lie in one plane.
