Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Phosphorsäure.    Bei der     Herstellung    von Phosphorsäure  durch Verbrennung von Phosphor oder phos  phorhaltigen Gasgemischen mit Luft findet  durch die grosse Wärmeentwicklung ein  starker Angriff der     Ausmauerung    statt.  



  Es wurde nun gefunden, dass man dieses  Angriff wirksam vermeiden kann, wenn man  die Wandung der Verbrennungskammer mit  Phosphorsäure ständig berieselt, wobei gleich  zeitig wenigstens eine teilweise Absorption  des bei der Verbrennung entstehenden     Phos-          phorpentoxyds    durch die Phosphorsäure  lösung     stattfindet.    Man kann die Berieselung  in verschiedener Form ausführen;

   zum Bei  spiel in der Art, dass man als Verbrennungs  kammer ein horizontal liegendes Drehrohr  verwendet, in das     Phosphorsäurelösung    der  art eingebracht wird, dass durch die Bewe  gung des Rohres die Rohrwandung berieselt  wird.     Eine    andere Ausführungsart besteht  darin, dass man die Reaktionsgase, gegebe  nenfalls die bei der Verbrennung von Phos-         phor    sich bildende Flamme, in einen Schacht  von unten oder von oben hineinführt, dessen  Wände mit der     Phosphorsäurelösung    berieselt  werden.

  It has now been found that this attack can be effectively avoided if the walls of the combustion chamber are constantly sprinkled with phosphoric acid, at the same time at least partial absorption of the phosphorus pentoxide resulting from the combustion taking place by the phosphoric acid solution. The sprinkling can be carried out in various ways;

   For example, in the way that a horizontally lying rotary tube is used as the combustion chamber, into which a phosphoric acid solution is introduced in such a way that the tube wall is sprinkled as the tube moves. Another embodiment consists in feeding the reaction gases, possibly the flame that forms during the combustion of phosphorus, into a shaft from below or from above, the walls of which are sprinkled with the phosphoric acid solution.

PATENT CLAIM: Process for the production of phosphoric acid by oxidation of phosphorus in a combustion chamber, characterized in that the wall of the combustion chamber is sprinkled with phosphoric acid solution during the combustion. SUBCLAIM: Process according to claim, characterized in that gas mixtures containing phosphorus are burned with air in the combustion chamber.
