Bathtub for cataphoresis baths. The present invention relates to a bathtub which is used to administer cataphoresis baths.
In the known bathtubs of this type, the anodes and cathodes consist of individual carbon rods introduced into the bath water. As a result, the ions migrate mainly in certain lines, and not with a uniform strength and evenly distributed throughout the bathing liquid. In addition, in the known bathtubs, the anode or cathode could only be attached to the side of the bather's body, but not over the same, which can be particularly effective in the case of diseases of the abdomen.
What is new is that the anodes and cathodes, by means of which the four walls of the bathtub are clad, are designed as plates, and that an additional plate, which is used as an additional electrode (anode or cathode) and is resting on support brackets, is horizontally stored and adjustable in the Liquid spaces of the bathtub is arranged. These support brackets can be displaced on a power rail in the longitudinal direction of the bathtub. Several interchangeable mounting brackets of different shank lengths can also be provided in order to be able to arrange the attachment plate higher or lower in the liquid space.
The accompanying drawing shows, for example, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely Fig. 1 shows the longitudinal section, Fig. 2 shows the floor plan in connection with a circuit diagram for the current, and Fig. 3 shows the cross section of the bathtub along line .9.-B of Fig. 2.
The bathtub shown has four plates 1 to 4, which clad the inner walls of the bathtub 5 and form the anodes and cathodes, and an additional plate 6 serving as an electrode (anode or cathode). This additional plate 6 rests on two Tragbü rules 7, which are suspended on the two longitudinal sides of the bathtub walls on the power rail 8 in the longitudinal direction of the bath tub 5 are slidably disposed. The support brackets 7 are interchangeable so that the additional plate G can be arranged higher or lower in the liquid space of the bathtub, depending on the height of this support bracket. The plates 1 to 4 and 6 are made for example from galvanic, so-called granite coal or from another appro priate material.
The direction of the current can be reversed by means of a pole changer 9 so that the anodes are interchanged with the cathodes. Depending on requirements, any two plates can be connected to each other, which can be enabled by the migration of the ions in the desired direction.
