Injection molding machine in which the movement of a mold clip and the opening and closing of two mold halves are carried out by means of compressed gas cylinders. The invention relates to an injection molding machine in which the movement of a mold slide and the opening and closing of two mold halves are carried out by means of a pressure cylinder each.
The essence of the invention is that the pressure gas cylinder for closing and opening the mold halves is arranged displaceably within the fixed pressure gas cylinder for moving the mold slide. -and forms the piston of the latter.
By such an arrangement of the compressed gas cylinder, a completely parallel work of the mold and the mold slide can be achieved in a simple manner and also a correct operation of the Ma machine can be guaranteed, so that the mold halves must always be closed first, and only then the mold slide with the closed form can be guided against the mouthpiece of the pouring device.
An injection molding machine according to the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the accompanying drawing, insofar as this is necessary for understanding the invention.
Fig. 1 shows the injection molding machine in the state of rest with the mold open in plan view and partial section; Fig. Yes shows a side view of the control mechanism in the illustrated in Fig. 1 Darge rest and initial states of the machine; Fig. 1b shows schematically the fuse for the actuation of the casting device in a position of the parts of the machine accordingly Fig. 1;

Fig. 4 shows a side view of the control mechanism shortly after its actuation for the purpose of returning the Formschlit least from the pouring mouthpiece; FIG. 5 is a partial view corresponding to FIG. 1 of a variant with a mechanical safety device, while FIG. 6 shows a side view of the control mechanism of a machine according to FIG. Shows initial states;
7 shows the control mechanism shortly before the mold is closed in an embodiment of the machine according to FIG. 5, while FIG. 8 shows the control mechanism with the parts according to FIG. 21 in a position; 9 and 111 correspond to FIGS. 1b and 3b, but with the arrangement of a mechanical fuse.
In the drawings, 1 denotes the injection molding machine's mouthpiece, which can be actuated by compressed gas or compressed air and is designed in any way, whose mouthpiece is? and in the compressed air or compressed gas supply pipe 3 of which a shut-off element 4 is arranged, which can only be opened when a locking pin 5 is pulled out of the locking position shown in FIG. To move the locking pin 5, an electromagnet 6 is used, which is in a circuit which is to be closed by a contact 8 in the manner explained below.
Compared to the mouthpiece 2 on the non-signed frame of the Ma machine sliding mold slide 9 is arranged, of which the existing form from the fixed on him to the mold half 10 and the displaceable mold half 11 is carried. On the movable mold half 11 engage two toggle linkages 12, 12 ', one of which levers are articulated at 13 on the mold slide 9 and which are to be brought into the Streeklagf @ by short levers 14.
The levers 1.1 are attached in an articulated manner to the head 15 of a piston rod 16, at the other end of which a piston 17 sits, which is arranged in a compressed gas cylinder 18 in a displaceable manner on g e.
The pressurized gas cylinder 18 is in turn mounted displaceably within a pressurized gas cylinder 19 which is fixedly arranged on the frame of the machine and forms the piston of this I) rough; izy1inders 1.9.
A piston rod 18 'extends from the piston rod 18' forming the piston of the cylinder 19, which forms the piston rod 16 and is rigidly connected to the mold slide 9 at its other end.
A pressure gas line 20 leads to the inner chamber K 'of the pressure cylinder 19, and a pressure gas line 21 leads to the front chamber K4 of the pressure gas cylinder 19.
The two drain lines 20 and 21 emanate from the two connecting sockets 20 'and 21' of a four-way valve 22, which is shown in particular in FIG.
This four-way valve 222 also has a connection stub 23 'for connection to the main pressure gas line 23 and an outlet stub 24 which is connected to the free atmosphere.
In your cock 22 a cock plug 25 is rotatably mounted, which contains two through bores 26, 27 and on the axis of which a He bel 28 sits, which is provided with an open groove 29 at its end.
The rear chamber K1 of the inner pressurized gas cylinder 18 is connected through a longitudinal bore 30 of a rear piston rod 31, which extends through the rear end wall 32 of the cylinder 19, to a pressurized gas supply line 33, while the front chamber K2 of the inner pressurized gas cylinder 18 is connected through a bore 34 the piston rod 31 is connected to a compressed gas supply line 35.
The two compressed gas supply lines 33, 35 are connected by movable hose pieces to the rear ends of the longitudinal bores 30 and 34 of the piston rod 31, since the piston rod 31 moves in its longitudinal direction when the machine is working. Dip pipes 33 and 35 are connected to nozzles 33 'and 35' of a four-way valve 36, which is also provided with a nozzle 23 "to connect the main pressure gas line 23 and an outlet nozzle 37, which leads into .die free atmosphere.
Inside the four-way valve 36 is again a cock 38 with two through bores 39, 40 rotatably arranged, on the axis of which sits a lever 41, which is designed exactly as the lever 28 of the four-way valve 22 and also provided with a link-like guide groove 42 is.
Between the two taps 22 and 36 a seated on the control shaft 43 control lever 44 is arranged, when the United position by hand, for example in the direction of the arrow 45 or in the opposite direction, the shaft 43 is rotated. An angle lever 46 is seated on this shaft. 47, of the two ar men roles 48 and 49 are carried, the BEZW with the guide slots 42 and 29 of the lever 41. 28 work together, as explained in more detail below.
On the control shaft 43 there is also a disk 50 with a recess 51, in which a locking bolt 52 normally engages, which forms the armature of a magnet 53, which is in a circuit 54 which is closed by a contact 55 as soon as the toggle lever 12 is reached 'passes from its buckled position drawn in FIG. 1 into its extended position.
Two toggle linkages 56, 57, whose arms 5 7 are articulated to the fixed frame of the machine, also engage the mold slide 9. These toggle linkages are set in such a way that they assume their extended position when the mold slide 9 is pressed against the pouring nozzle 2. In this way they secure the contact pressure of the slide 9 on the mold 10, 11 against the mouthpiece 2.
The one pair of toggle levers 57 ,. 56 closes the above-mentioned contact 8 of the circuit 7 when it changes from its buckled position into the extended position. Finally, two eccentrics 58 sit on the control shaft 43 below the toggle lever pairs 56, 57, above which the knee joints of the toggle lever pair 56, 57 come to rest in the extended position of the toggle lever pairs (see Fig. 3b).
The mode of operation of the injection molding machine shown is as follows: In the initial position, i.e. before the start of the casting work, the parts of the machine assume the position shown in FIG. 1, in which the mold 10, 11 is open and the mold slide 9 protrudes a piece from the casting mouthpiece 2. The control mechanism for the compressed air or compressed gas supply assumes the position shown in FIG. 1 a, in which the lever 46 just engages the adjusting lever 41 of the four-way valve 36 through its roller 48.
In this position of the parts, the chamber K 'of the inner cylinder 18 is connected via 34, 35 and the channel 39 of the cock 38 to the compressed air or compressed gas supply line, so that the piston 17 takes its rearward position within the cylinder 18. At the same time, the chamber K4 of the outer cylinder 19 is connected to the compressed air line 23 via line 21, channel 26 and connecting piece 23 ′, so that the cylinder 18 is also the one shown in FIG. back wärtige position in your cylinder 19 occupies.
The locking pin 52 of the electromagnet 53 engages in this position of the control mechanism drawn in Fig. Yes in the recess 51 of the disc 50 and the contact is 8; 1b, opened so that the bolt 5 prevents the casting device 1 from being connected to the compressed gas line (see FIG. 1).
To operate the machine, the hand lever 44 is now pivoted from the position according to FIG. Yes into the position according to FIG. 2a. This has the consequence that the adjusting lever 41 of the cock 38 of the cock 36 is rotated to such an extent that the connecting pieces 23 "and 33 'are connected to one another, whereupon the lever 41 leaves the roller 48 again.
By connecting the two nozzles 23 "and 33 'now receives the rear chamber K' of the inner cylinder 18 compressed air through the line 33 and bore 30 of the piston rod 31, while the front chamber P 'of the inner cylinder 18 via the nozzle 35' '37 is connected with the free' atmosphere.
As a result, the piston 17 is moved forward in the cylinder 18 into the position shown in Fig. 2, which has the consequence that the toggle lever pairs 12, 12 'are stretched and the movable mold half 11 against the .dem Formschlit th firmly arranged Mold half 10 is guided. If this is done, the contact 55 is closed by the knee pair 12, and this has the consequence that the electric magnet 53 receives current, whereby the bolt 52. as shown in phantom in Fig. 2a. is pulled out of the recess 51 of the disk 50.
Then the control lever 44 can be rotated in the direction of arrow 4.5 white ter from the position according to FIG. 2a into the stel ment according to FIG. 3a, which the movement of the mold slide 9 with the closed shape GE against the mouthpiece 2 results. This further rotation of the hand lever 44 is not possible as long as the mold 10, 11 is not completely closed, for example not if any metal that has penetrated between the mold halves prevents the mold from closing completely.
When the lever 44 is rotated further from the position according to FIG. 2a into the position according to FIG. 3a, the position of the cock 36 remains unchanged, so that the chamber K 'of the inner cylinder 1.8 still receives compressed air.
In contrast, when the hand lever 44 is further rotated, the adjusting lever 28 of the cock 22 is rotated by the arm 47 from the position shown in FIGS. 1a and 2a into the position according to FIG. 33, with the result that the connecting piece 20 is now 'and 23' of the cock 2 2 are connected to one another and now the chamber K 'is connected to the pressure gas line, while the chamber K' of the pressure gas cylinder 19 via the nozzle 21 ',
24 is connected finitely to the free atmosphere. The inner cylinder 18 forming the piston of the cylinder 19 is consequently moved from the position according to FIGS. 1 and 2 into the position according to FIG. 3, the piston 17 maintaining its position in the cylinder 18.
When the cylinder 18 is moved into the position according to FIG. 3, the hollow piston rod 18 'then moves the mold slide against the mouthpiece 2 of the casting device. As soon as the Formschlit th 9 has reached the end position shown in Fig. 3, the toggle lever pairs 57, 56 are stretched and close the contact 8 of the circuit 7, - which has the consequence that 'now more of the locking pin 5 by the electric magnet 6 is pulled out of its locking opening and the shut-off device for the supply of compressed air to the casting container 1 can be opened (see Fig. 3b),
which results in the actuation of the casting device and the filling of the mold 1 (1, 11 with the casting material.
To move the mold slide back, the lever 44 is rotated back from the position according to FIG. 3a again via the position according to FIG. 2a into the position according to FIG. Yes after the compressed air supply to the casting container 1 has first been turned off.
At the beginning of the reverse rotation of the lever 44 (see FIG. 4), the eccentrics 58 first bend the toggle lever pairs 56, 5, 7, which is necessary so that: the mold slide 9 can be returned at all.
On the way of the lever 44 from the position according to FIG. 3a to the position according to FIG. 2a, the mold halves 10, 11 remain closed, since the position of the cock 36 only in the last part of the rotary movement of the lever 44 into the initial position according to FIG. la zuiieli- is led.
After all parts of the injection molding machine have reached the position shown in FIG. 1, yes, 1b, the injection molding machine can be operated again. In the in Fig. 5 to 8 dargestell th formation of the injection molding machine is instead of the electromagnetic hedging 51 to 55, which move the mold carriage 9 against the pouring mouth piece 2 only allowed after the two halves 10 and 11 of the mold are closed , a mechanical lock provided.
This consists of a locking tooth 60 arranged on the control shaft 43 in such a way that it lies in the center plane of the hollow piston rod 18 '. In the vertical center plane, the piston rod 18 'is provided with a longitudinal recess 61 which is so long that it does not prevent the movement of the ratchet tooth 60 when the shaft 43 is rotated, regardless of which position the hollow piston takes. The piston rod 16 is provided with a longitudinal recess 62 which, when the machine is at rest, assumes the position shown in FIG.
If the control lever 44 is now pivoted from the position according to FIG. 6 into the position according to FIG. 7, the chamber K 'receives pressurized gas and the piston rod 16 moves to the right. During this movement of the piston rod 16 to the right, the recess 62 in the piston rod 16 only reaches the position shown in FIG. 8 when the toggle linkages 12, 12 'are fully extended and thus the mold 10, 11 closed is.
In this position of the piston rod 16, the ratchet tooth 60 can then eintre th in the recess 62 of the piston rod 16, and it can now be a Weiterver rotation of the control rod 44 in the direction of arrow 45 take place. This ensures that the mold must always be completely closed before the cock 22 can be switched and the cylinder chamber K3 can receive compressed gas in order to guide the mold slide 9 against the pouring mouth piece 2.
The mechanical fuse shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 acts in exactly the same way as the electromagnetic fuse shown in FIGS. 1b and 3b. In the fuse shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, the locking pin 68 sits on a lever 63 which engages with a cross pin 64 in an elongated hole 65 of a control rod 66, which is articulated with the extension 67 of a lever 57 of the toggle linkage 56, 57 ver is bound.
The dimensions of the Vorrich device are chosen such that only when the toggle linkage 56, 57 assumes the extended position shown in FIG. 10, the lever 63 is pivoted and thereby pulls the locking bolt 68 out of its detent, so that only then a rotation of the Hahnkückens 4 for the purpose of supplying pressurized gas to the casting container 1 is possible. The mechanical safety device shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 also ensures that pressurized gas can only be fed into the casting container when the mold carriage 9 with the casting mold is guided tightly against the casting nozzle 2.
