Description

Method of manufacturing construction elements. The present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of building elements, according to which sawdust, cement, lime and water are mixed, so as to form a mass. it is poured into a mold, in which it is subjected to the action of a press.

Preferably, sawdust constitutes the fundamental element of the composition. For 1 m3 of sawdust, we can use, for example, 100 to 150 kg of lime and cement. These proportions are cited, by way of example, and the composition may vary in its content, mainly as regards the proportion of cement, the dosage of which makes it possible to obtain construction elements offering more or less resistance to com. pressure.

The materials used are preferably dry mixed, the incorporation of water only afterwards. The mass formed by the well-stirred mixture is then poured into a mold, in which it is subjected to the action of a press. The construction elements thus obtained are then dried in air or artificially, so as to give them the necessary hardness. It is thus possible to constitute construction elements of different shapes and for different applications; provision is preferably made for the manufacture of parallelepipedal construction elements for the establishment of thin walls or partitions; these elements have on their sides recesses, holes and grooves, into which the mortar penetrates during the assembly of the elements.

The walls or partitions established by means of these elements offer the advantage of being very light, perfectly retaining heat and also offering the advantage that nails and screws can be fixed there, as in a wooden wall. .
