Equipment for the electrical drive of work machines by means of I-drive and Ila main motors In the case of some types of work machines, such as calenders, rotary machines and the like, it is necessary to let the machine run very slowly for certain work processes.
In order to be able to do this economically and flawlessly, a large main motor is used for the normal working speeds, while the auxiliary speed, which is necessary for rotary riveting machines, e.g. for pulling in, is achieved by a small auxiliary motor that runs with the main motor an overrunning clutch is connected. In order to be able to stop the machine quickly, a brake magnet is also required.
The two motors and the brake magnet are inevitably controlled by a control element, for example a control roller, which cooperates with contactors in such a way that the auxiliary motor can be operated using pushbuttons. The work process requires a number of pieces of equipment and an intricate circuit, because both the main motor and the auxiliary motor are used by various contactors.
There is an arrangement for the electrical drive of work machines has been known ge, in which the number of contactors is reduced because of a single contactor that auxiliary motor, main motor and brake magnet are connected in parallel to the network and that the start roller enables the desired switching of the three devices are brought about so that the brake magnet and auxiliary motor or brake magnet, auxiliary motor and main motor or brake magnet and main motor are connected to the mains through the contactor. This arrangement has the disadvantage that the control apparatus has to be given a large switch.
The invention relates to a device through which the circuit is simplified wesent Lich. This is achieved in that the large main motor and the small auxiliary motor are connected in series to the network through a Sehütz.
In Fig. 1, the drive device is shown in an embodiment for direct current. The main motor 11 is in series with the auxiliary motor 12 and your main contactor 13 is connected to the network p, yt. The main starter 1.1 is parallel to the auxiliary engine 1? placed. If the ON button is pressed, the main contactor 16 receives power, it responds and closes the main contacts 13.
At the same time, it also closes the contacts 18, through which the circuit of the brake magnet 19 is closed, so that the brake is released. Both motors 11 and 12 are connected in series to the mains through the contactor 13, but only the auxiliary motor 12 starts up because the current it draws is not sufficient to put the main inotor into operation. In order to increase the speed of the drive, the starter 14 of the main motor is connected in parallel to the auxiliary motor so that it is short-circuited in stages.
As the main engine increases its speed, the number of revolutions of the auxiliary engine decreases, so that by means of the overhaul clutch, a smooth transition from the auxiliary speed to the main speed is gradually brought about.
By pressing the switch 17, the circuit of the contactor 16 is interrupted and the machine is stopped immediately by applying the brake.
The arrangement described can be finitely provided with all the usual facilities, by which a jerky move before, low retraction speed, Si assurance of the drive against uribautauttes A switch and the like is achieved.
For three-phase current, the stator windings of the two motors could be connected in series. However, this would have the disadvantage of the stator starter that the starting torque of the motors is very low, so their power consumption is very high. The device is therefore better made for three-phase current so that the stator of the auxiliary motor is connected to the slip rings of the main motor or to any place on the starter of the main motor.
Fig. 2 shows this device in an embodiment. The stator of the auxiliary motor 1, \ 3 is connected to the slip rings of the main motor 11 via the starter 14. Its stator is connected to the mains via the contacts 13 of the contactor 16. In the circuit of the estimated coil closed to phases r and t is a switch button 15 and a switch button 1i.
If the power button 15 is pressed in Arilasserstellurig I, the contactor 16 responds and closes the contacts.
