Device for treating textile goods in strands or pieces by means of a circular liquor. It is known to act textiles in strands form by circling liquor in such a way da.ss the strands are placed on a perforated immobile or movable tube and the treatment liquid is brought to the textile material by pressure through this perforated tube, so that the Liquor trickles down the property and completely penetrates the same.
The aim of the present invention is to improve this device in the sense that the strands or tissue hangings should be wetted with the treatment liquid over a greater length. For this purpose, according to the invention, not a perforated tube is used, but rather a bow-shaped profiled hollow saddle with a bow-shaped profile on the outside, which offers the textile material a large contact and wetting surface of up to 70% and more of the entire circumference of the strands or slopes to be treated,
so that the effect of the circling liquor reaching the textile material through the hollow saddle is significantly faster and more intense than with the previously known simple pipe.
For practical reasons, it is ruled out that the previously known tube can simply be enlarged in its diameter so that the contact surface represents up to 70% of the strand circumference, because such an extension would increase the amount of the circulating liquor extraordinarily Furthermore, the apparatus be significantly larger and more expensive. In order to avoid this inconvenience, but at the same time to achieve the advantages of faster and more intensive penetration of the textile material, the use of the hollow saddle has been proposed here.
The drawing illustrates by Fig. 1 schematically an embodiment of the device, while Fig. 2 shows the hollow saddle for itself in cross section.
The textile material is placed, for example, in strands or in pieces on the hollow saddle a, which is mainly bow-shaped in cross section. The treatment liquid is kept ready in the container b.
The latter is driven through the hollow saddle a by the pump c and penetrates the textile material d due to the turbulence of the pump. The textile material remains immobile during the entire treatment. It has on the saddle a. a large contact surface, is thus safely guided and, since the contact surface is perforated in its entirety, wetted abundantly.
In this case, it is expedient to ensure that the clear overall cross section of the holes in the hollow saddle a is approximately equal to the cross section of the liquor feed pipe f.
Practice has shown that the duration of treatment is shortened almost proportionally to the enlargement of the contact surface of the hollow saddle, and that, if the treatment liquid is a dye bath, the uniformity of the coloring is faster and more efficient by expanding the surface area inten siverer 1) urclidrin # iig of the textile goods increased significantly.
