Description
Process for the production of transparent billboards. In known neon signs, all types of glass are preferably used in order to be able to act light-permeable, but this is very disadvantageous because glass (including film) is expensive. Glass is also a tedious task to transport and store, and it has to be insured for high premiums if the owner wants to protect himself from damage.
The present method uses instead of glass or the like specifically for this purpose * to prepared, fiber-containing sheets, z. B. made of fabric or paper. Tissue or paper are soaked with a finish, for example with gelatin, varnish, turpentine, Mittion, linseed oil or a mixture of the same, then with a base color, for. B. enamel paint, oil paint, Ripalin, Eklatin, Royalin, or primed with a mixture of these (it can also be primed first and then finished), so that a transparent, scratchable painting surface is created on which to attach advertisements.
The finished or work-in-progress advertisement is not tied to any particular type of fastening; it can be clamped, glued on, clamped and is not on, nor on. tied some kind of straps.
