Description
Process for the production of fine shiny threads. According to the literature, the degree of fineness should be used to manufacture the finest threads from viscose. : the threads depend on the percentage of sulfuric acid in the precipitation bath, so that, for example, the minimum concentration for rayon of -3 deniers is 250 to 280 grams of sulfuric acid monohydrate per liter and for rayon of 4 deniers 170 to 190 grams per liter. 360: g Glauber salt should be added to these baths.
In contrast to these data, it was found that compliance with the above minimum concentrations is not necessary in order to spin the named threads of different titers. It has indeed been found that shining threads of 2.5 to 6 deniers can be made from viscose solutions if one uses precipitation baths with a sulfuric acid content of 7.0 to 160 grams per liter and such a high one Salt content. z.
B. Glauber's salt, v crwendet that the specific gravity of the baths 1,, 3 \ 2 to 1.42.
Example: Viscose with a maturity of 8 to <B> 10 '</B> chlorammonium is spun in a bath with 160 grams of sulfuric acid per liter, to which so much Glauber's salt is added that the specific weight is 1.32 to 1.42 amounts. The diving distance is best chosen between 10 to 15 cm and the temperature between 4'1 to 50. It is recommended to use an upper bath that contains 5 io sulfuric acid and consists of a diluted precipitation bath.
Compared to the known method, the present one has the advantage that a uniform bath is always used for different titers and only the substance supply needs to be changed.
