Isolation insulator for low current lines. The invention relates to an isolator for weak current lines, in which the lines are inserted into the upper cavity of the bell-shaped insulator and connected to one another by means of a switching device. The switching device arranged on the plate-shaped carrier can not only be seen in new insulators, but can also be used with advantage in old insulators which, in the sense of the now known embodiments, have a cavity in which the plate-shaped carrier is then in the manner described is used.
According to the invention, the switching device is arranged on a plate-shaped carrier which is inserted into the cavity of the insulator.
The accompanying drawing shows two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.
1 shows the entire insulator of a first embodiment in longitudinal section, and FIG. 2 shows a partial section through the upper part of the insulator at right angles thereto; Fig. 3 and 4 show respectively in side view. Section, as well as the upper part of a second embodiment in the plan.
In the upper cavity of the bell-shaped insulator i is through a channel k, from the inside, the one. With lead jacket provided connection line b leads. The second line d, which consists of a bare wire, is passed into the cavity through a channel k2 leading to the outside.
In this space is a plate-shaped support t for the connection or. Separating device used in such a way that it is located between the two inlet channels 7c ,, k2. This support body adjoins the inner wall of the cavity with its end faces as precisely as possible and is provided with openings o through which the insulating compound m that fills the cavity passes, so that after the cavity has been potted, the carrier is firmly angeord net therein.
An insulation plate p is attached to the top of the carrier by means of a tab a , the ends of which are placed on the edge of the insulator cavity. On this plate are a bearing block c for a switch blade s and two contact spring pairs c ,, c. attached. The switch blade can be inserted into or removed from the switch springs cl, e2 by means of a handle g .
With the contact spring pair c2, a fastening screw s. the line b, with the contact spring pair c, connected by means of a screw s, the line d.
The arrangement of the switching device on the carrier t has the advantage that it can easily be attached to the existing insulators with a cavity without the need for any special equipment. Fastening through the cast-in insulating compound is extremely easy. Finally, the arrangement of the pivot point for the switch blade outside of the contact spring pairs is very advantageous in that it ensures a readily verifiable good contact at both contact points, while in this regard the most common switch blades, whose pivot point is relocated to the one contact spring pair, often give rise to lawsuits.
According to the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, the switching device is combined with a voltage fuse. This consists of a spark gap f arranged between two electrodes e. The electrodes are fixed within two cylinders z ,, z, which are screwed together and one of which is made of insulating material. One cylinder, z, is connected to part x, of the switch blade, the other, z2, to part x2 thereof.
The part x, lies in the two contact spring pairs c and c, the other part, x2, is on the contact spring pair c; with special consideration of a permanently good contact rotatably mounted. Both knife switch parts form a rigid whole with the fuse.
Each of the contact spring pairs c, cl, c2 is provided with a clamping screw s ,, s2, s; Mistake. s, is connected to the insulated line b according to FIG. 1, s2 .with an earth line 2s., which can be drawn through the insulator channel 7c together with b, and s ,:
with the outer connection cable d.
The lines b and d are connected by the knife switch x ,, x2, and both are connected via the voltage fuse c, f, e and the line is earthed.
